We really enjoyed our experience at this cafe. The food was great. We had a reuben and a turkey and cranberry sandwich. Both were served with a delicious potato salad. We also had a strawberry mango smoothie and some of their custard, which was superb (I’d recommend hot fudge and raspberry added in). Lastly, we tried the wizard island coffee, which is espresso with frozen custard mixed in. I’d highly recommend it.
Overall we loved this place. Best of all was the excellent customer service. The two men who helped us were exceptionally personable. I can’t wait to visit this place again.

It was the perfect spot for lunch with my wife. Cozy atmosphere, courteous wait staff and my Flyin' Ryan sandwich was the bomb.....! It would be nice to have some side options. My sandwich looked lonely all by itself. Not a deal breaker BTW.

Love the Crater Cafe! The food and coffee is delicious. I can't eat dairy so I have to miss out on the custard, but everyone says it's amazing. I recommend the breakfast sammie. And they have oat milk! Everyone who works here is friendly and the ambiance is cozy and welcoming.
Check it out, it's a fun experience :)

Love it! Very chill location to hang out for awhile. A little gift shop and a fabulous Wizard Island (espresso with their homemade frozen custard) which is absolutely superb! Food is good too!

Delicious breakfast! Very friendly owner greeted us as soon as we walked in and offered a taste of their custard, obviously a thing of pride for them. Too bad I am on keto which they were willing to accommodate. We thoroughly enjoyed the deconstructed breakfast burrito and americanos we ordered. The side bacon is thick and flavorful--a departure from the usual dinner style thin salty bacon. Turkey sausage was okay but would love to see real pork sausage patties. This is my new favorite nearby breakfast spot. You can tell the ingredients are quality and that they really care about delivering well prepared food. If you like to dine in a cafe that seems to be a labor of love for the owners, check out Crater Cafe.

Portion sizes and staff were good. The biggest problem was the taste... there wasn't any. No salt, pepper or anything. We had three different items for breakfast and not one of them were seasoned. Maybe the 5 star reviews are for the custard?

I ordered food here for the first time today. I got the Breakfast Sammich with a side of hashbrowns. The sandwhich was really good but the hashbrowns were terrible. They were very dry and rubbery as if they were leftovers that were re-heated in the microwave. The place is super cute and I will eat here again, but will not be ordering the hashbrowns anytime soon.

First impression: very clean and nicely designed interior. It's a warm and welcoming environment
Ordered ultimate burrito modified for keto. They were happy to accommodate and the food was cooked quickly and tasted great!.
Prices are very reasonable and in my opinion a great value.

Great cafe to stop for one of the best homemade custards I have had ($6.75 with mango and lemon curds!!) and laptop work. Selection of espresso based hot drinks, smoothies, lots of sandwiches. Kitchen closes at 3 pm, dine it avail. Tim, behind the counter, was super kind, nice and helpfull. Good vibe, window - bar seating, armchairs or community table. On the main street.
