I've been here twice now. Both times were excellent! It's a good sign when there is a two year gap between visits and the service, food, and coffee are just as good if not better! The biscuit with jam is a must. Trust me, make the short drive to South Cannon Beach for this gem.

Oh my goodness! This place is the best place in the area to get baked goods and coffee. This is a small business made up of people who are obviously passionate about coffee and baking. We decided to get a bourbon sticky bun, latte and americano. That was the best sticky bun I've ever had. It was flakey and gooey all at the same time. Our coffees were amazing too. They really know what they are doing here.

It seems like people tend to have pretty consistent expectations from this category of coffee shop:
- Solid coffee. Must be fresh roasted from a quality roaster. Staff must be skilled at producing good brews.
- General vibe. People are picky about the look and feel of the decor and atmosphere.
- Originality. It can't just be a copy of another establishment. It needs to have its own qualities that make it unique from other places.
Sea Level nails all of these. Their coffee is amazing, the vibe is the perfect combination of trendy coffee shop, and they have several things that are unique about them. In particular, their French-style pastries are interesting and delicious.
So go to Sea Level next time you're at Cannon Beach!

We go to Cannon Beach all the time and are trying to figure out how we just found out about this place! It is off the beaten path which is nice, and it is a really cute building with outdoor seating. Great location next to beach access. The baguette was soooo good, and the blueberry scone, along with the vanilla lattes we gulped down. We will definitely be back!

Good drinks, good service, what more can you ask for?

Best thing I ate in Cannon Beach: jambon and brie sandwich. Quality ingredients, real food.

Such a neat little shop in the small town of Cannon Beach. Great pastries and HEART coffee.

Their drip coffee is not good. Tastes watery as if they don't put enough beans in. I've been several times over the past few years and it hasn't improved. Their hot chocolate is delicious and is the one drink I will order there. My last time at the cafe I also ordered some food. One of the food items took nearly 10 minutes to be heated up, despite there being at least four people working and the line being quite short. Not sure I will return to this cafe.

From what I could tell the good reviews this place has received must have come from friends of the owners. The drinks were mediocre at best and the sandwiches ordered had hair in them on top of being slathered with about 1/4 inch of tapenade (which was not listed in the description) unless you are a hipster only looking for that droll atmosphere stay away.

A gem of a coffee shop tucked away in south Cannon Beach. The owners and staff are wonderful and take pride in their hospitality and their craft. The expresso, beans roasted by Portland based Heart, hit the mark!. Their baguettes are simply the best and made fresh. The peanut butter jelly sandwich was heavenly. And the beach access is right there! Yes they also have a vegan muffin and gluten free options. Will miss these guys!!!
