Sea Level Bakery + Coffee

Nice atmosphere, great service, coffee was excellent. Best lavender rosemary latte, just a touch of sweetness to cut the string flavors but not too sweet, just perfection. Will have breakfast here next time, bread and food looked really good.

We love Sea Level! We go there as soon as we arrive at the coast!
I got the yogurt and granola cup; my husband got the quiche. So delicious!
We always buy a couple of bags of their granola to take back home, too.

The takeout menu available online is not the same as the one in the shop, and the website only allows you to order whole quiches for $20 instead of individual servings. When I went to the shop, the person ahead of me at the register finished, and instead of helping me (next in line) the employee did not acknowledge me and walked away. I had to ask her twice before she agreed to take my order, and when she did she seemed annoyed. Then when my food was ready they handed me a stack of boxes with a pile of napkins and silverware on top, with no bag, which I was supposed to carry like that two blocks to my hotel, with a large coffee in the other hand. The food was okay.

Seriously the CUTEST little beach town cafe I’ve ever been to! Definitely stop by this place when you’re checking out Haystack Rock for a coffee and a baguette to share!

We went to Sea Level because our dear friends are related to the owners, and some other dear friends used to work there. I found someone who attends my university, too, so I suppose I'm biased 😂

Anyway, this is definitely one of the best coffee shops in the area! They were super friendly and the coffee was very smooth. For those who aren't a fan of sweet coffee, the added sugars are tastefully (lol) done. My caramel mocha was full of foam, light, smooth, and not very sweet at all—but even without that much caramel, it tasted amazing! (This coming from a person who prefers coffee-flavored sugar milk.) It just goes to show that great coffee doesn't need much added, because a good foundation creates a wonderful drink!

Everything was incredible. Best acai bowl I’ve ever had. Really good quiche, great coffee.

What a perfect way to start the morning! Every item is unique and we could taste the artistry of baking in each pastry. The raspberry lemon scone was perfectly balanced in density. The sticky bun was the perfect amount of sweetness. Flaky and delicious dough. The staff were friendly, and the shop warm and welcoming. Their online ordering system is super convenient and I love that they split their ordering Windows + are taking the necessary covid precautions to keep staff & guests safe.

Update - after a few more phone calls to clear up the charges on my card, they offered to give me a gift card. I still haven't picked it up but do appreciate their offer.

I used to be a fan but....don't order online! They won't actually fill your order. They will charge you but when you drive down to go pick it up, they will tell you they are sold out. When you seem confused and say, "but that is why I ordered online, to reserve it." they will give you one of three excuses...1) that they got busy or 2) that the website wasn't updated, or 3) your order got lost or something. But there are still silver linings... because after that mess, you drive away from that hipster joint and go to another place by chance and get the best treat you've had since you moved to the coast. Which I will not name here so it not be ruined...

Amazing bread. The food selection is great and they can make a good cappuccino.
