This place is amazing!!! The bagels are so delicious! Their hand pies are also an amazing treat! Our favorite is the lemon blueberry hand pie. We came here multiple mornings in a row and it’s definitely our favorite. The bagels are soft and there’s so many good flavors topped with their freshly made salmon spread is such a treat! We were also able to get many treats for our dog.
In this long life there are only three times I've had the absolute PERFECT spiced chai tea. Once at an ashram, next with friends from Nepal, today at Salmon River Cafe. Absolute heaven. Subtle, savory, and just the right amount of sweet. The scone was also very good. My friend's coffee "excellent." Then the service, warm, cheerful, accurate, and timely! Wonderful atmosphere, great drinks. We will be back frequently.
After a vacation there are sometimes exceptional places that make your trip really memorable. For us, one of these places is Salmon River Coffee House.
Every am we'd walk into town for a sugar free peppermint latte. The barista told us about the kind of espresso they serve. She was very knowledgeable and friendly.
We asked the other barista for his hiking recommendations. Ecola point to Indian Beach was perfect!
We also ordered a bagel every am. The jalapeno bagel with cream cheese and the plain bagel with locally made peanut butter and jelly were standout favorites. And a treat to have on the beach at sunset was a daily must. Try the freshly made marionberry pie or a scone!
You'll find the coffee house at the north end of Hemlock, on the east side of the road, at the end of an adorable alley with great outside seating. We're leaving Cannon Beach with some fantastic memories and new friends.
I didn’t have coffee but the sodas and cookies were amazing. Best customer service I’ve had in awhile. Super helpful and kind. Offered cups of ice for our sodas. Asked about our time on the beach. Genuinely seemed to care about our time in Cannon Beach.
Unfortunately this coffee was undrinkable. 3 different types of drinks were ordered by our party and all 3 needed up getting thrown out before we left the patio. None of our iced drinks had ice in them, when asked they said “oh that’s just what always happens” and the latte tasted like steamed milk, no coffee taste what so ever. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but all 3 of us said we have never thrown out a full coffee and all 3 of us did.
Stopped here when another coffee shop was closed and so glad we did. Delicious drinks and breakfast bagel, with a wonderful conversation with Austin. We'll be back for sure!

Great tasting coffee and small quiet spot to enjoy a bagel with if you're early enough to grab a seat. Items for sale as well as baked dog treats.
