Charley's Deli & Ice Cream

A wonderful lunch experience! Located on the corner of Main Street, this sandwich and ice cream shop is a lovely location with fantastic service. On a hot Monday afternoon in July, the ice cream line wrapped around the store. One hard-working and friendly young woman was helping every single customer with a smile, whether they wanted ice cream or a sandwich - I happened to enjoy both. She was careful to wash her hands after each transaction at the cash register and did an excellent job catering to each adult and child in the shop. 10/10 experience!

A nice little sandwich and ice cream shop downtown Baker City. I had turkey and cheese sandwich with horseradish and their homemade sauce that has a little bit of spice to it. It was really good! I also tried their Nutty Cow blended drink with Nutella. ;) Mild and yummy.

Charley's Deli is the one really good experience in this town that had many otherwise mediocre restaurants and citizens. I came here because I was desperate after Subway and generally unhappy with that experience in this part of the country. I came away profoundly happy and found that Charley's Deli was top notch.

Google said open until 4. But we got there and they said that when they are slow they stop making sandwiches. What’s the point of a sandwich stop if you stop selling because you’re slow. Very disappointed. On our way home to Idaho and looked delicious.

We stopped here for lunch while passing through town and couldn’t have been happier with our experience!!!

The sandwiches are made to order with high quality, fresh ingredients and were truly delicious! The shop itself is very charming and the ladies making the sandwiches were friendly and efficient! We both loved our sandwiches, so much so that after we finished our lunch we ordered another sandwich to take with us!

Wonderful small town feel with big city flavors. Best sandwich ive had in a long time. Had a delicious and unique coffee drink called a Frizz, worth a try if you go. Sad we don't live closer, we were just passing through on a road trip. Great view of a beautiful hotel from their outside seating.

1st timecin there today. Nice atmosphere, great food, I loved the ice cream. Can't wait to go back.

I ordered a complex sub sandwhich meat combo and it was made to perfection. One of the best subs I've eaten.

Super yummy deli food with great customer service! We had a large group come in just before us and the servers took care of them swiftly and with many smiles. Our order was hand prepared to perfection! Highly recommended.
