Ludger's Bavarian Cakery

The only place we found around that understands that fresh bakery is what makes it.
And also their cappuccino is well made with proper espresso.

Not only is this cake perfect, but it’s so delicious and the ordering process was incredibly simple. Called them, texted them a picture of what I wanted, and then picked it up later! My husband loved it and there were so many ooo’s and ahhh’s when we opened the box.

I ordered this cake for my daughter's 16th birthday. It was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved it, especially my daughter. The inspiration is Van Gogh's Sunflowers. I placed a request for ordering on Wednesday, they returned my call the next day & the short time frame was no problem at all. It is red velvet cheesecake. The staff was friendly and made me an iced Kylo Ren. They totally nailed it. We cut it into 8 small pieces, but the cake is so tall that a peice of that size was enough.

My wife and I ordered our wedding cakes here and they turned out amazing. Her cake was a 3 tier, and my was a square cake. When they delivered our wedding cakes to the reception on 10/15/22 to the Main Street Tavern in Broken Arrow. They failed to leave cake boxes for us to take the remaining home. My wife had 2 tiers left, and I had half of my square cake left to take home. I spent almost a thousand dollars with them, for them to forget something small as cake boxes. We were left to figure out how we was going to move the cakes home. This was a special nite for us and to found out they didn't do there part, but ask us to return things back to them. If we was to use a bakery again I probably want think of ludgers again. Sorry

The entire experience of working with Ludger's for our wedding cakes was just delightful. From the fun cake tasting and consultation meeting, to discussing the details, to the delivery — everything was so easy and stress-free. Plus, their Bavarian cakes are AMAZING! We got so many compliments from everyone at the reception, especially on the peanut butter chocolate groom's cake. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to like them because we usually had treats from here when we had work meetings. I ordered a cake for my son it was red velvet and it tasted off. Im not sure if they left it out or what the deal was. Ive ordered a red velvet cake from Merritt’s Bakery before and it was amazing. I wish I would just ordered from them again. $50+ in the trash. No one ate it.

Just to reply to the comment from Ludger’s.
Even though I appreciate it you guys reaching out to try to make it right to me it still ruined the day for my son. I am not sure that it can be “made up” because the day was already tarnished.
Might seem a little over the top but on a birthday the one item that stands out is the cake. When you cut into the cake and you have to spit it out its heartbreaking mostly for “moms” since we usually plan it and hope for the best. Although one experience should not make or break a future visit a birthday cake is an important “visit” per say. Unfortunately, I will not order again. We do a ton of catering from here at work and we have never experienced bad cake in the past, but with that said I wish it would of been a regular type visit instead of an important day for my family.

So, if you've never had a "Bavarian Creme Cake" before, do yourself a favor and go to Ludger's. This cake was absolutely delicious. So moist, and very tasty. It's a delightful combination of traditional cake and cheesecake, with a very subtle cheescake-like textured/flavored creme. This was our first time trying this cake, but most certainly not our last. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, and even gave helpful instructions on serving and storing the cake before serving, which was great! Thank you for a fantastic experience and a wonderful item! We'll be back! 😉😋

Their cupcake are delightful. Their soups used to be awesome, but the last few times my mom and I got soups (various types,) they were way too salty to enjoy. I used to get their soup weekly!

Update: Owners reached out to us immediately and told us this would be fixed. I just got some soup again and it’s totally back to it’s usual awesomeness! Thank you for the fabulous customer service and amazing food!!!

Ludger's is amazing! They always have fresh, fast, and delicious food. The family loves the eggs in a basket and tuna sandwichs. The pastries and cake are all spectacular. Alison's attention to detail can be seen everywhere. This place is the best!

They did an amazing job on my wedding cake and grooms cake! Everything looked perfect and tasted even better! They also have very good espresso drinks and food served at the cafe. During the tasting and even afterwards in the following weeks leading up to the wedding, they were very intentional about communication and making sure everything was perfect for the big day!
