Ludger's Bavarian Cakery

If it wouldn't have been that they forgot to get me my quiche, I would have given them five stars. I waited 25 minutes and I had to ask for it since no one ever brought it out to me. Initially I thought maybe they were making some fresh, but then I saw some in the case. The vanilla buttercream cupcake was delicious as always.

We had Ludger's cake for our wedding last month. The staff was sweet and easy to work with. The cake arrived on time and was delicious, everyone loved it! Our only complaint was that we had brought in a ribbon for decorating the cake which they said could not be used due to the material, but that they had one we could use instead. We didn't find out until the reception that it was the wrong color (much darker than the flower topper) so the cake design looked a bit weird. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Ludger’s was absolutely incredible. They did my entire wedding cake gluten free and it tasted AMAZING!! The cake consultations were so fun too and you can tell the people working there really enjoy their jobs and are very good at it. They transported my cake from Tulsa to Guthrie and the cake arrived beautifully. I couldn’t have been more pleased with it. 5/5 would recommend

We used Ludger’s for our wedding and the experience of cake testing and ordering the cake was a breeze. They were easy to work with and let us choose whatever we wanted for our day. However on wedding day, half of our cake was never delivered. We had sheet cakes ordered for easier serving and they never made it to the venue. The main wedding cake and grooms cake made it and were perfect! We did call after the wedding and Ludger’s reimbursed us for the mistake. The cake we had was delicious and our guests loved it. Despite the mistake, we had a great experience with Ludger’s and would consider using them again for the tasty Bavarian cream!

Go earlier in the day for a wider assortment of pastries. I was hoping to find fresh bread, but was disappointed to find this more of an eatery instead of a full service bakery. The cupcakes we had were good, though.

Today is Saturday July the 31st

My husband and I drove from Arkansas to Tulsa see a family member.
While in the Tulsa area, we wanted to go through the drive-thru to say hello to Miss Cindy.
We were regular customers back in the day when Ms Cindy owned the best barbecue place in Tulsa.
Knowing the dedicated work ethic of Miss Cindy, we knew it would be a short hello.
To whomever owns this bakery, you have one of the best employees one could possibly ask for.
I would not be surprised if a great portion of your business is strictly people coming by to see Miss Cindy and picking up a sandwich or two while there.

It truly made our day🌞

The food itself was pretty good! But, there was a small bug in my sandwich which was a little off-putting. I just took it off though. Other than that, the soup was pretty good and the pastries as well. I'm a little skeptical to come back thought since I'm worried to get a bug in my food again, lol.

Ludger's initially did our wedding cake 3 years ago and we were so impressed we've probably ordered 15 more cakes from them since then. Allison and Chris are excellent to work with, the entire team is professional and creative, and their cakes taste AMAZING! We were so happy when they moved to the new location and now have cookies, cupcakes, coffee, and pastries available for pick up all the time. Highly recommend them to everyone who asks!

We loved our wedding cake! We got alternating layers of vanilla and chocolate chip bavarian cream. It was delicious, and it looked gorgeous - exactly the design I wanted!
