I-40 Travel Plaza (Truck Stop 40) Punjabi Restaurant

I'm a truck driver rolling through here ta was full so I came here tried India Restaurant amazing food prices are amazing too.Big open parking lot for truckers to get in.Staff very nice I'll definitely come back for sure next time rolling through here.

Food was delicious and the service was quick. They have the menu in both punjabi and english. If you don't know about the food. Thats ok they english description are pretty self explanatory. I had the green beans potato with peas. Chai tea, samosa and potka curry. There was spice. But it was there to give flavor and it didnt hurt to eat Will be coming back if i can.

The man that toonour order at Punjabi was very friendly and accommodating to our *vegan* dietary restrictions, we got the okra, palak peneer and rice to go, all went deliciously with our homemade Naan!
We also got the freshly made mango and a watermelon beverage too - yum!

I've been inside first time and it's a nice clean place. I will go again

Really good service with any of the dishes you Oder, good food! Lot of space for truck parking ! please stop at this Punjabi restaurant. Nice and clean good to dine in.

Price of food is high compared to other indu/middle eastern food stops and ther is not much dishes varieties

Truckstop dirty. Had no Indian food because nothing on the menu sounded good to us

While coming back from our vacation, we found this dhaba. We ate thali followed by authentic Indian wedding espresso coffee. Even my kids finish their entire thali...... We felt quite nostalgic as it took back us to our memories. It's home away from home. I would definitely come back next time, and I highly recommend to all those who travel on I40.

I only give a 5 for a real roadside gem. I gave this place a 5 before. But not now. But recent trip revealed a need for better attention to cleaning up the dining area and the restroom. I understand that most of the clients are truck driving men, but they deserve a clean spot to eat and wash up; the food is good and it is worth a visit, but the place needs some attention.

Menu is mostly in Punjabi, samosas were hot. I asked a truck driver what they were having: stuffed flatbread, Ghobi Paratha (in Hindi, गोभी पराठा; maybe ਗੋਬੀ ਪਰਥਾ in Punjabi). Stuffed with cauliflower and broccoli and there were other vegs in there. Piping hot, served on a tray with curd, butter, and lentils. Hot yummy goodness tucked into a corner of the mechanic's shop. Salty or sweet lassi are available, also chai & coffee.

Best place really nice to customer service best experience to come here last 5 time I came they always take me right away and never have trouble and I don't know why people are giving them bad start already thank you
