Gray Owl Coffee

Norman's only worker owned coffee shop! They are the friendliest people and their coffee is great. They also have different homemade baked goods available every morning including scones and muffins.

Ordered an iced lavender latte and it was good. My only complaint would be the dirty aspect that the place has, with the piled up dust on the ceiling fans, hanging bicycles, and all. It isn’t the most pleasurable thing to witness while sipping your coffee…

Great place to hang out and work or study. Nice selection of coffee and some yummy snacky food options. A comfortable and decently quiet environment too.

This place has a great vibe. The layout is open concept and allows for a lot of elbow room. Coffee is just as quality as their music selection.

Stopped in this morning. Hated that I had to get my coffee to go. It’s so cozy and welcoming. Staff was super personable and efficient.

Good coffee but expensive, the baristas were friendly actually felt like I walked into a time warp of 1970, atmosphere nice, clean. Good place to meet up someone, which I did. Know it's bad to smoke but wish they had an ashtray at outdoor seating area & some 😎 shade.

Awesome coffee shop!😎 A little pricey but it's very chill and they have great lattes!

Edit review 03/27/22: since the staff bought it out, the attitude has been much more positive. 5 stars.

I agree with other reviewers about the pretentiousness of the staff. But the lattes are delicious and supporting a local business is important. Prefer this place over Starbucks any day.

The service is always excellent, everything is local, including artists' work for sale on the walls. It truly feels like they care about their community, and they offer options for a variety of dietary restrictions. It's a neat place and if I was a writer, I'd make this my place.

The atmosphere is very homey, and very welcoming. They offer a great variety of high quality tea at reasonable prices, and the folks making the coffee drinks show skill and understanding of the techniques involved.

I will absolutely be back, and I'm very happy I found this place.

Good for regular coffee or fancy coffee.
