A good bookstore/newsstand is becoming harder to find in this digital age, so thank God for the Barnes and Noble in south Norman! I've been meaning to stop by during my trips to OKC and finally got the chance last Tuesday morning. There weren't many customers but there were shoppers present for books and/or a coffee from the in-store cafe. I'm always looking for magazines to inspire and inform in my crafting and cooking areas of interest but I never can find them. Sadly, all of the bookstores within an hour's drive have closed their doors. I only found half of what I was looking for here but I am so happy for what they did have, and this made it worth all worth the effort. It was a pleasure just to be in a bookstore again. The minimal staff was pleasant and aroma of fresh espresso was icing on the cake as I left with my happy purchases, and I can promise many return visits in the months to come. 🙂

This is by far the best book store in town. They have a big variety of books, magazines and gifts. I love their game selection. They have comfortable places to sit and read/review the books. Plus, there is a Starbucks inside. The prices are reasonable.

About the only bookstore in Norman. Glad it hasn't left like the others. Great place to browse and experience a little nostalgia with the coffee smells and books.

I got a good deal on some books for my 2 year old here. It was in the bargain books. The Trix cookie from the bakery was yummy.Also if you are looking for some manga this place has alot ! I love how they display them as well. I can find out about new manga just by going here.

Great place for a coffee. I love finding places like this. Get a good drink and enjoy your time and find a good book.

I love this Barnes and Noble. I always go to it when I'm in town and even if I don't necessarily buy a book, I'll buy a couple coffees and normally a toy for my daughter (or myself). The bathrooms are usually clean and there's always plenty of parking.

I would definitely recommend this particular store to anyone.

I've just got back into reading, I'm disabled and I have a lot of time on my hands. I'm either coloring or reading or cleaning house. Lol This store is amazing! I just wish they had more seating out on the floor so you can relax and read part of the book your buying.

I get vinyl records at Barnes and Noble, the selection is limited but good
