Painted Horse Bar & Grille

First time visiting and we will definitely be back! Restaurant was very well set up and something different from the usual. We did visit during the less busy hours and service was excellent l. Server gave us suggestions on appetizers which we ended up getting and absolutely loved! They were the fire cracker shrimp said to be a little spicy but too much so it was impossible to eat. I had the Cheesus burger and my husband had the Hangover burger both were fantastic. Would definitely recommend you stop by for dinner!

Very nice food and ambiance. Came here for dinner while visiting the city. Had a very pleasant dinner. The service was great. The food came fast. The flavors were great and I liked the ambiance with the nice pictures of the painted horse around the place. I had Asian pork with vegetables but the place had all cuisine plates.

Great food and atmosphere. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. Always a pleasure getting to stop in for a bite to eat.

Was in town for OKWU graduation and my advisor recommended this place. So, my daughter and I gave it a try. We had the steak eggs, onion rings n cheese grits and it was to die for!!! So flavorful! My steak was cooked as ordered and was tender too!!
We also ordered the barbeque macncheese to go and it was just delicious!! So tasty! The menu was full of unique dishes!! Service was good as well. If ever in town again, we will definitely stop here!!

Walked in and was immediately told they couldn't serve me so late in the day. The "kitchen hours" clearly posted on the door say they are open and serve till 9pm. Was there a big event booked ..no. Thank You Haley for politely telling me to buzz off and my business was not wanted.

Worst experience in ALL of Oklahoma. The state is great...this place NOT so much. Enjoy for what it's worth.

It was the worst. I ordered filet mignon medium rare and got extra well done an my son ordered chicken fried chicken an it was burnt an my daughter in law ordered sirloin well an it was over cooked. They made use new steaks n chicken and my son was alot better an my was still cooked little more then I like but I can live with it. When asked about my bacon wrap around my mignon like the first 1 that I ordered she told me that they don't do that no more. I said it's on your menu an was on my 1st mignon. So I'm paying the full price even for the bacon that you no longer put around the mignon. After all that it cost me $125.09 an that definitely was money wasted.
