Java Central Café and Roaster

Latte’s were basically all milk. WAY overpriced underwhelming bagel sandwiches (no flavor & no meat options). Waited 35 minutes for our order due to staff having zero sense of urgency. We typically like to support local, but no way I could ever justify going here again..

Great atmosphere, very welcoming staff and live entertainment Fridays and Saturday evenings. Coffee was delicious and one of the owner shared so much information about the area and the Artist. I may have found my new Friday night get away! ALSO DOG FRIENDLY!

Java is a Westerville hotspot. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the environment is relaxing and casual. I visit at least once a week and I’m always love my drinks and look forward to a visit.

Great coffee shop in Westerville. The staff is friendly and happy to assist from the owner to the baristas.
Check out their nitro cold brew, it's smooth, but still has the robustness a pure brewed coffee should have.
They brew coffee in house from Puerto Rico, Columbia and several other countries where one of the owners travelled to see their processes and build relationships with the growers first hand and ensure that they recieve the profits vs some third party Corporation.
They have live music frequently and support an array of local artists and charities.
Definitely a chill spot to go and see.

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s such a chill spot, tightly tucked away in a vibrant and alive community. The coffee shoppe serves your typical java selection, latte art included. The service is fast and friendly. There are plenty of chairs, tables, and couch type seating inside; which helps when meeting with friends for a chat or doing homework while sustaining your java-drip. There’s frequent live music acts and plenty of seating outside for when the weather warms up.

This is where I usually meet my friends before we start our shenanigan, java fuelled day. 😅

Calm and cozy cafe.
Wide variety of espresso drinks. Buckeye latte was amazing as usual.
Lots of bakery items and sandwiches as well, chicken salad on croissant and blueberry coffee cake were delicious.
Plenty of space available for group work or even individual studies.
Ambience Quite different when compared to that of regular cafes.

We are becoming quite picky about coffee and were thrilled to find this spot. As the name suggests they take pride in roasting their own beans. Also have a nice selection of pastries including gluten free and even a vegan option.

The drinks were amazing and I was very happy with the food. I had the gluten free breakfast sandwich and it was the same size as my boyfriend’s. They do have baked goods from local gluten free bakeries, which I enjoyed. We will definitely go back.

Very pricey!! I like the atmosphere in this place but definitely disappointed with the prices. I was wondering if they charged me for an art exhibition admission at the same time I got my food, lol because the sandwich i ordered has been the most expensive sandwich (breakfast sandwich) i have been eating so far, but wait it wasn't even a sandwich it was a toast with avocado for $8.00 or so and I won't give them a 2 stars review because the "Buckeye moka" was good.

The atmosphere is pretty calm, cozy, and quiet. The place is pretty cute and nice to hang out in. There's plenty of room, private WiFi, Uptown parking, and a decent amount of choices to choose from. Some of the downsizes are the prices, the flavor, and the lack of AC. It was so hot the day I came in, but there was no air conditioning. You can also sit outside on the side patio!
The staff members are very friendly and accommodating.
I recommend this place for groups, casual dates, quick coffee, and a quick bite. There's not super special about this place, but it has a very neighborhood feel, which I like.
