Was my favorite coffee spot. I have found myself going to this Nervous dog less and less due to extremely slow service and the amount of fruit flies building up in the pastry area. Today was my final visit. Decided to give it one more chance and I was extremely disappointed. Flies were buzzing around me as I waited for service. Fruit flies were buzzing all around the now individually wrapped pastries. They obviously know they have a bug problem. Only one person working in the morning with 3 people in the drive thru and 3 people in the store. Poor management is plaguing this coffee shop. Hotels and businesses all around, this place should be booming, but it's barely busy and it always takes 10+ minutes to get a black coffee. I hope someone else takes this place over and turns it around soon.

The comments one barista made to the other while I was waiting at the counter for my order were not appropriate. They should know that a customer standing a few feet away from the counter can hear what they are saying.

Great coffee shop, nice people. It's a little pricey, but I'm ok with paying that premium for something more locally owned then something like starbucks. Sometimes it's empty, and sometimes it's busy with students coming from nearby schools, but it's a good place for me to get some coffee while getting some work done.

Great prices. The menu has a nice variety. My personal favorite is the black white mocha, hot and Frappuccino style. They also have coffee to brew at home.

Nervous Dog has a great atmosphere and excellent staff. My order is always right. Good selection of coffees including specialty drinks. They have some bakery items and sandwiches too. Oh and One time I went thru the drive thru and they gave my dogs treats! There's plenty of seating and it's not usually too crowded. There's an outdoor patio too.

Very nice place to sit and do work.

Love their coffee and loved sitting inside to get work done when I was a student. I feel lucky to live so close to a quality coffee shop that isn't Starbucks or dunkin

Very good high quality coffees and a great selection of sandwiches and other goodies. Friendly & helpful staff too. Love this place and feel lucky I live so close :)

Nervous Dog is the "legitimately sweet thrift store find" of NEO coffee shops. It's authentic, worn in (NOT worn out), a little imperfect, and always friendly, warm and cozy. It's what an independent coffee shop should be: friendly and accessible to regulars and newbies alike, while serving good Java without pretense or snobbery. Casual and comfortable, the Steels Corners location is a great place for a drink and/or a bite and meeting friends, business associates, or just chilling for hours while getting work done. The only downsides would be the Sunday close is pretty early and the speakers could be better. I think they're behind the counter and not even distributed, so they have to be turned up loudly to reach the whole shop. All in all a favorite place.

Great local coffee shop with delightful treats and breakfast/lunch eats. I personally enjoy getting fresh pressed coffee while enjoying reading up on local events. I know they have some live music on select nights. Also, there are board games to enjoy while drinking coffee.
