Let me start by saying that I’ve gone here for several years and they still provide what I believe to be, the best coffee in the entire Greater Toledo area. My Coffee Quest winner 2 times in a row. But when I order a pourover (for dine-in) is it so much to ask that I get my coffee in a mug and not a paper to go cup, when I clearly ordered my drink for there? I understand maybe the whole tray setup may not always be available for every pour-over but the last 5 times I’ve gone and ordered a drink for there (which costs slightly extra by the way) I’m given my quality coffee in a paper cup and it just ruins my experience. I know it probably seems like a petty thing, but getting a quality brew in a nice ceramic mug is what defines quality coffee to me and I haven’t been getting that lately.

Great food and the waitress that served us was so nice. She was attentive and helpful. She helped me and my sister choose wonderful delicious dishes for dinner. We will visit this restaurant again when we venture into Ohio again.

Best iced vanilla latte around. Better than any coffee shop I've been to even in NYC or Seattle. Staff here are all very welcoming. Also, note to owners, thank you for your service to our country in the United States Air Force.

The Flying Joe offers a truly excellent experience. Upscale pastries and gourmet coffee and teas are offered at competitive prices by a charming, cheerful staff that always makes us feel welcome. The staff went far above and beyond the call of duty. My wife inadvertently dropped a very expensive necklace when checking out. She searched frantically for two weeks, finally returning to the Flying Joe and lo and behold, the staff had held it for her and returned it with cheer and grace, refusing any reward, even remembering who she was. You cannot do better than the Flying Joe.

Far and away the best coffee shop in Perrysburg. I like the other places but no other shop has the staff, the atmosphere, and the drinks that The Flying Joe does. The staff makes great coffee but their breakfast sandwiches are to die for. Interesting people are always stopping by to meet up and talk and the staff knows dozens of locals by name. It's rarely long until they are regulars. I have tried most of their drinks, partly because I wanted to try a bit of everything they had but also because I needed an excuse to stay longer to soak up the sun, use the WiFi, and get work done. They use local roasters, which is always good, but they also make one heck of a cocktail. It's the perfect place to catch up with a friend, get work done, or just enjoy a great drink. Highly recommended to anyone, whether a coffee drinker or not.

When I'm looking for a top notch cup of coffee or tea concoction this is the place I think of first. I'm in love with their matcha green tea latte, and the desserts on display are homemade and out of this world. The brunch looks beautiful and delicious; haven't tried it yet but will update when this happens. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. Highly recommended.

This is certainly the best coffee place around. Inside you'll find a very cozy atmosphere with aviation-themed decorations and very high ceilings, all with plenty of tables and sofas to give that "lounge" feel that Starbucks so desperately tries to emulate. Every barista I've spoke with seems to have a real enthusiasm for their work and the world of coffee, so you know you're in good hands when you place an order. They also have a pretty great selection of loose leaf teas if that's more your speed, along with the usual pastries and snacks.

The staff is always super friendly! If they don't have you by name, they will recognize you as a regular though!

They're all willing to help you find a coffee or tea drink that you'll like!

Pastries and treats are great pairings to their drinks!

Absolutely incredible!!! We stopped overnight on a road trip to Detroit, and walked over in the morning from our hotel.

I couldn’t make my mind up, so my mom and I split 4 lattes, the pesto toast, and the pretzel croissant.

The coffees were all excellent! We tried the pumpkin brûlée, fall fiesta, chocwork orange, and berry caramel. Out of the four, we couldn’t pick a favorite! Each one was perfectly balanced, not too sweet or too bitter, with just the right amount of flavor to enhance the espresso without overpowering our tastebuds. For the seasonal drinks, I would compare the fall fiesta to a Mexican hot cocoa. The pumpkin brûlée reminded us of gingerbread cookies with a hint of pumpkin spice. The classic menu drinks, I’m not quite sure how to put into words besides amazing and definitely try them!

The pesto toast had incredibly flavorful and fresh pesto, perfect slices of hard boiled eggs, and hearty multigrain toast. The pretzel croissant was divine and crowned beautifully with their housemade blueberry ginger jam.

Overall everything we tried had the perfect balance of flavors and was incredibly well thought out. Staff and customers were friendly and the ambiance inside (outside seating too!) was so welcoming!

Wish we lived closer!
