Big Apple Cafe

Awesome, awesome place for breakfast. It probably is for lunch, too. Just so happens we both ordered breakfast food. I had coconut French toast. The owner told us her husband created the recipe and that they toast the coconut in their kitchen themselves. So yummy! My husband had Crab Cake Benedict, which looked wonderful. He said it was great. This is such a cute place, and it was packed, which is usually a good sign. We'll be back!

Nice little local diner. Far better in my opinion than the roadside Denny's and Bob Evans types of eateries. One of the good things is that the food came out hot. Many times I have had eggs come out just warm. Not here. The eggs with scrambled properly and we're steaming when they came to my seat at the counter. The woman behind the counter whose name I did not get was outgoing and friendly with a good sense of humor. If you happen to be in the area I think this place is worth stopping in for. The only drawback is they only serve breakfast and lunch. They open at 7 so if you're a very early riser this may not be the place for you. That being said if you can you should check it out.

Breakfast menu is fantastic, Staff is friendly and very helpful, quick service dining in or takeout. The Chipped beef is really good. Eggs Benedict are delicious as well and highly recommend. We took our guests from out of town there and they absolutely loved it.

Service is excellent. Food is pretty typical, but nothing that gets you excited. Good, solid breakfast.
