My omelet was undercooked and runny inside, as was my wife's. My wife bit into an egg shell in her omelet. Service was good but the food was not. Will not return.

The Big Apple Cafe has a very inviting vibe. The staff is friendly, outgoing, and energetic! The menu is compact but the food is excellent and always prepared spot on from the kitchen staff!! The pricing is very reasonable for the portions served.
The Big Apple Cafe is a smaller diner that's open for breakfast and lunch and IS ALWAYS hopping!!! Come early to beat the crowd!!

Delicious cafe that serves both classic and more modern twists on breakfast and lunch staples. The many times I have eaten here I have been very happy with my experience with the wait staff and food! Great atmosphere that feels relaxed and welcoming. It is also the ideal spot to meet with a friend to catch up! Thank you to Big Apple Cafe for what they do for the Newark area!

Went a couple weeks ago for the first time and everything was okay. I had the eggs benedict, it was good. My boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy and it was fine. - Wasn't the biggest fan of the gravy. The employees were running around a lot. Seems as if they did everything from answering phones, being a host, a server and a busser. Didn't make for a genuine experience, and things took a little longer than expected.

There's nothing negative that can be said about this place. It was packed on a Thursday at 11, which already tells you something. The eggs Benedict was one of the best I've ever had. Hollandaise sauce was delicious. Great atmosphere, great service, and at a great price. I'll be back.
