Happy Bean Coffee Shop

Great Chai, friendly staff, and you can sit and talk forever. They didn't even mind the time we moved some tables together for a meeting and one of the cashier's let me borrow a pen when I forgot mine! They have some comfy chairs in one corner too, though they're often taken.

Had the pleasure of visiting Happy Bean Coffee as my wife and I were walking around Mount Vernon. I love the atmosphere, and the service was quick and friendly.
Coffee was great, too. The cup my brother selected had a wonderful blueberry taste to it.
I liked their coffee so much I bought a bag of dark roast beans to give those a try!

Good coffee, many hot and cold drink options, tasty pastry offerings, pleasant servers. I attended a poetry reading in a room just off the main coffee room and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Young people at the tables were quiet and respectful of the poets and listeners in the next room. Nice place to grab a coffee to go or sit and have some coffee and a pastry.

Very cute coffee shop. Bakery items looked great although I didn’t try one myself. The latte and macchiato we ordered were great!

A very basic college coffee shop. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Its nice that there is finally a real coffee house in Mount Vernon. They have great roasts and menu options. I highly recommend if you are searching for a good cup of coffee try them out. Or you could just go to speedway and continue making poor life choices.

Excellent quality coffee. Great service too. The girl working knew what she was doing. Prices were reasonable and drinks were great. Will go back next time we are in the area.

If only it tastes as good as it looks. Hot chocolate did not taste like hot chocolate. It tasted more like warm white milk. Also the coffee here is not great.

I love this cafe!! There is so much to try and enjoy here, everyone will find something they love. My personal favorite right now is the iced chai. Their baked treats are delicious as well!

I don't live in Mount Vernon but I work there often and when I do I always stop in and get a great cup of coffee I sure do miss the seven-layer cookies though
