Happy Bean Coffee Shop

I have been coming here for five years and I absolutely adore this place. Happy Bean is great for providing a cozy atmosphere, great beverages, and a welcoming staff. When I walk in and am greeted by name, it makes my heart really happy. I happily consider Happy Bean as one of my places and if you are looking for a place of your own, I highly recommend this one!! :)

Happy Bean never disappoints to provide a great atmosphere, great drinks, and great baked goods/snacks! Their non-coffee options are always expanding and they have plenty of options for non-dairy and gluten free customers. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and care a lot about getting to know their customers!

Great coffee, and some amazing iced teas. Not impressed by the majority of the baked goods, especially after I saw them taking them out of Kroger packages and repackaging them with a huge up charge!! Homemade Pop tarts are ok.

UPDATE: forgot to mention I like how they put nice encouraging sayings on the to go cups, see picture.

Absolutely delicious coffee in a warm and welcoming space. What more could you ask for?

Wandering central Ohio on a lovely Friday afternoon. Stopped here for a coffee and got a spinach and cheese biscuit.
Good coffee and tasty biscuit.
Limited menu but worth a stop.

Stopped in Mount Vernon on the way past this Saturday. This place was open because of the festival in town, but it wasn't busy.

I got the Iced Mocha and my wife got the Chai Tea Latte. The Mocha was very bitter...which I usually like...but I couldn't taste any chocolate in it all. It had a sickly aftertaste.

The Chai Tea Latte was hot...but that was the only thing going for it. It tasted like hot milk with just a hint of flavoring.

This is a student coffee shop not usually open on Saturdays and if I'd twigged that prior to ordering I wouldn't have gone in. It's a little bit like going to a Starbucks in a hotel (so a franchise rather than corporate)...looks good, smells good, but not good.

Great place. Good atmosphere, good coffee, clean and friendly.

I was waiting to hear news about my car getting fixed when i found this place. It was such a nice shop the atmosphere was soothing, they had nice music and the food was great 👌. There were so many options i wish i had to time to just try them all, the shop and all the equipment was very clean and sanitized. I finished the visit with a look at the nice dog fountain around the corner which is a great place to just enjoy being outside, and if you come through Mount Vernon you should visit both.

Wonderful coffee! My husband and I go here every time we are in town. Their coffee is nicely roasted and the flavors aren't surgery. Highly recommend!
