The staff was very nice, but we ordered a white cinnamon bun with salted carmel, and then a marshmallow with peppermint. We could not taste any of the flavoring at all and it was very bitter, even after we added a lot of cream and sugar. We also had to wait around 40 min for our food and drinks. The cookies and sweet potato cubes were good though.

On our way back to Columbus from Amish country, we wanted to grab a quick local breakfast. Not a lot of places open on Sunday, so we checked out Broken Grounds. We arrived just before a church service started. Fine with me! Seating was limited, but fortunately there were bar style seats towards the back. My wife and I wanted to try something savory and something sweet. I ordered the Big breakfast burrito and it was extremely good. I was sad I had to share it. Tons of flavor and tasted super fresh. My wife ordered the french toast and it was also very good. I got a large coffee and she got a vanilla latte. Both were outstanding. I highly recommend the drinks AND food here!

This place sets the standard for prompt, courteous, and professional service and the coffee is great too!. This is coming from someone who is a bit of a cafe connoisseur, and have been to cafe's in Turkey, England, Germany, Ireland, ALL over the US, Canada, the Middle East, and Africa. The owner is also very hard working and stood out in a group of hard workers. She is no joke and her son is one of the most respectful young men I have met. Good job! If I am ever back in the area, then I will DEFINITELY be returning for more coffee and a delicious sandwich.

Charity, Herschel, and the rest of the crew have a wonderful Spirit led establishment. The coffee and food assortment are plentiful and delicious.

I have my favorites. The coffee cake is delicious! Their biscuits are really good and I especially like the bacon and egg biscuit sandwich. And today I tried the pumpkin roll with cream cheese filling. Excellent!!!
Comfortable and quaint farm house decor....

Ordered the Breakfast Burrito and it is was wonderful. The Customer Service was excellent at 7:00am on Sunday morning 7/3/2022.

Enjoyed the Sunday service. It was totally a nice end to our mini vacation. It helped us solidified our relationship and why we are still married and will never give up on each other.

I wish they were open longer. Scones and lattes are delicious.

Great food with unique options, such as gluten free and vegan. The vegan wrap was awesome with hummus. Very Mediterranean. The "black buffalo" was great and it is really cool to see a Christian business serving the community. They also support a mission to Native Americans and their tables are beautifully made from white cedar from the reservation they minister to in South Dakota. God bless!
