Gem City Catfe

Don’t ask the owner to share any recipes on social media … interested in their bakes, which they hashtagged with well-known recipe-sharing Instagram profiles, got me blocked for some reason from their gemcitybakehouse Instagram account. Maybe a blessing.

I have been twice now it has been great each time. I love playing with the cats and the staff is super friendly. I purchased a membership the last time I went and I can't wait to take my friends to see all the sweet kitties :)

Absolutely loved this place. I was slightly sceptical about a CATfe but it was pretty awesome. Kid loved the cats. My iced Chai tea was perfect, not too sweet. The vegan cupcake was a good treat as well. It was First Friday of a month so they had a food vender. Tonight was invoked, their vegan menu was killer as well.

Great coffee as well as a wonderful clean and cat friendly visitation area. This is a wonderful place! Register and schedule a time slot for visiting the kitties ahead of time to guarantee a spot. Only so many people may be in the cat area at a time. Slots are for an hour. The seating area for coffee in the cafe, outside of the cat area can be tight, especially since this Cafe is busy.

If you love cats and coffee this is a great place. You can even adopt the cats you play with. There is way more room to interact with the cats than most other adoption places. The best part is the staff cares about the cats and want the best for them.

Very cool environment! The coffee was great and the cat lounge is awesome. Dahlia and I hung out while I was grading papers. There were some kids in the lounge but they were very respectful of the cats, who enjoyed all the love and attention. It has been awesome watching Gem City Catfe build and progress through social media and I'm regretting not going in sooner!!!

My boyfriend and I visited here for the one year anniversary party and we had a purrrfect experience! I have been wanting to come here since they opened, but I moved to Findlay, OH for school and I had to wait for a good time to make the trip. Once I heard the one year anniversary party was this month, I reserved two spots online and made the journey from Columbus with my boyfriend. We began our visit with some earl grey tea and mocha latte and then headed upstairs for some (awesome) catered appetizers and cake. 🤩 Once our reserved time to see the cats started, we were in absolute KITTY HEAVEN. 😻 Each kitty had such a lovely personality and they were scattered around the lounge area either sleeping, playing, or wandering. A man gave us some treats to give out and this definitely attracted a crowd! 😂 Gertrude and Meowrville Wright were my two favorite floofers. Ultimately, my boyfriend and I plan to return in the future.

Friendly staff and delish drinks. The cats are wonderful and adorable!!! Tastefully decorated, modern but cozy. Will visit again!

This place is awesome! The cats are so sweet and come right up to you. Got the boba and danish, both were delicious!

This is such a unique place! I have made 2 trips here bringing up foster cats & kittens from a rescue in Southern WV. Not only are they very diligent about the health of the kitties they accept but they take amazing care of them once they have been entered into their adoption program. I have a hard time letting go of some of my fosters, but when I know they get to go to the Gem City Catfe I don't stress anymore because I know they will be in wonderful hands. Several of my fosters have been adopted already and their new owners seem like absolutely wonderful people. I wouldn't hesitate to bring any of my foster kitties here and if I ever wanted to adopt I'd choose this purrfect place. Their cat area is very cat & human friendly and they keep the entire place VERY clean! On top of all that, their drinks are amazing! I'll have to try a pastry the next time I make a trip!
