Gem City Catfe

The staff was amazingly friendly. The kitties were full of personality. The baked goods were delicious. The lavender honey mimosa was fantastic. It was cozy on the inside, and there re plenty of kitty related merchandise to purchase!

Nice open upstairs with plenty of tables and chairs for working or community. Bright space, and of course, a great cause. The kitties are in a glassed in space seperate from the coffee area. Very clean.

Coffee shop in downtown Dayton's historic St Anne's district. They have a great selection of coffees, baked goods, bottled drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful. But the real draw is the cats. They have three resident felines; the rest are brought in for adoption from locals rescue organizations. You can book time in the kitty room ahead or as a walk-in, but you may have to wait during busy times. Only 12 people at a time are permitted in the cat area, to avoid stressing the cats. The cat area is sealed off from the cafe and has it's own air system, so even if you have allergies it shouldn't bother anyone. They also have swag and cat-related items for sale.

Staff was amazing - they helped me with a friend who uses a wheelchair & explained all the rules & options. Space is adorable and set up for cats but humans are comfortable too

Great coffee and food. They have helped over 200 cats get adopted. Great place to adopt from as well. My close friend adopted from there and absolutely loves her cat, very social from the environment.

This was such a fun and cute place to visit! I stayed for 2 hours today and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff are kind and pleasant and as long as you respect the cats they're lovely and receptive to pets and playing! The atmosphere was calm and fun and the drinks were super tasty too! I highly recommend!

The local cat cafe houses (at the time) 18 cats in a large room that you can interact with. During peak times, you are limited as to how much time you can spend with them, however, if you go during off peak times, they are more relaxed with this rule. All of the cats are adoptable (if one pulls your heart strings) except for the resident cats which have collars.

In terms of coffee, they give you a reusable cup, and have an expansive menu with unique offerings.

Visited during the preview and I can't wait for Gem City Catfe to officially open! The staff is dedicated and so passionate! They completely transformed the building and it looks amazing! The resident cats are also super sweet and it's a great place to drink coffee and relax with cats.

Friendly staff, clean, good coffee, good wifi and plenty of places to hook up your laptop. If you like cats, for a few extra dollars, you can visit with them in a separate area. The friendly service and ambiance will bring me back.

The drinks were all suprisingly really good and all the cats were super sweet and liked being doted on. Staff was attentive and kind and had lots of info about the cats. We love visiting here!
