Rising Star Coffee Roasters

Really nice spot in the Downtown Cleveland area for coffee. The place is a no-frills stop for coffee, tea, and pastries. They also sell bags of coffee alongside coffee and tea accessories. Ironically, I've yet to sample a cup of their coffee, but I have had their golden turmeric tea, which I think tastes fantastic.

Worst coffee shop EVER!! Staff was not friendly at all, service was extremely slow and very limited selection of drinks & food. Ordered a bagel and the Barista didn’t even know how to use the toaster waited over 10 minutes and left with an untoasted bagel. Will not be visiting again and definitely do not recommend unless you want average coffee with less than average service.

Great coffee options, fast service despite a decently long Saturday morning line around 10am. Several pastry/bagel options that I did not try. Seating options around the cafe.

When they first opened I would have rated this place with 5 stars. Unfortunately it has lost its charm. The employees used to be so enthusiastic when talking about coffee. They now seem more businesslike and cold. Still good coffee though

Absolutely love this place. Friendly staff, amazing products, great coffee equipment, and a unique and peaceful environment. Not to mention the music playing was all my favorite songs. I am from out of town and engaged in conversation with the barista about what to do while I'm in town. Coffee shops that roast their own coffee are the best of the best and this place roasts so many different kinds of beans to choose from. Being a barista myself, I know that creating a fantastic cup of coffee takes time and it wasn't even a long wait at all. Infact it was sort of fast! I don't understand why someone would give a bad review about specialty coffee taking a little bit of time. Can't wait to visit again when I'm back in Cleveland!

A wonderful space that is very laid back and mellow. The coffee was excellent ( I only had an americano) and the service really put it over the top. The barista delivered my drink on a nice little tray with a seltzer water on the side. Parking might be difficult to find in this area, but worth it. Highly recommend.

Great place for coffee and I'm not a coffee person! Love the mocha and the staff is very friendly.
There can be a wait at times but orders are filled pretty quickly

I love everything about Rising Star Coffee - the high quality of the coffee, the interesting places they've chosen for their shops, baristas who are both laid back and attentive at the same time. Great pastries too! The Cardamom Bomb and the Star Tea are my two favorites.

Artisan coffee and espresso in a beautiful location. Indoor and outdoor seating are available, as well as an all-gender restroom. Bike racks in front are visible from the outdoor picnic tables. Baristas are attentive and routinely put in a little extra service and friendliness. The ambiance is good for those who like to get work done in coffee shops, but the internet is not reliable. Sometimes it's very slow; other times I've seen people have difficulty connecting.
