Metropolitan Coffee

I really want to like this place, I have been here 3 times hoping for a better experience but honestly it keeps getting worse. Most recently I ordered a large pour over with milk and cinnamon. To which I waited 15 minutes for a small black coffee and an eye roll. The attitude from the baristas is very off putting and is very unwelcoming.

Very comfy place. Nice chill vibes. The Staff are friendly and helpful . The coffee is delicious. 😊 oh & the bathrooms are really clean! That's a huge plus in my book. I highly recommend this Cafe. 💙

If you haven't stopped in here yet to get a delicious coffee or tea (or their yummy crustless quiche and other treats), you're missing out! Do yourself a favor and make the trip here soon!

First time here and I just love it. The young woman came to the car gave me run down on the menu and I was impressed 👌. Definitely will be back for the great service and the quiche and coffee were excellent.

The pastries here are very tasty, however the banana cream cheese muffin does not taste of banana. The Lemon scone was beautiful, the lemon flavor perfectly balances the sweetness of the pastry.

Now the only reason I give the rating I did was because of the drinks. We ordered a small Black & White Mocha and a small Apple Crisp Latte. Neither of the drinks were fully filled, I understand that the foam plays a factor when pouring but that should be taken into account when filling the cups. The B&W mocha didn't taste like it had any chocolate sauce in it. The Apple crisp latte had a burnt taste to it. We were very upset with the quality of the drinks and we expected better.

The space had a good study/work atmosphere, and was clean.

This is my favorite westside coffee shop. I often hang here to get work done or have a coffee date with friends. Coffee, snacks, and staff are always great.

Nice coffee shop with good lattes. The interior is very nice with plenty of seating. Its a comfortable atmosphere for both working or talking with friends

So pleasantly surprised by this coffee shop! They have great options and make great drinks. It also seems like a nice place to work at too.

Love their homemade syrups and seasonal drinks. They also serve some food, which is appreciated. Good amount of seating for working. One issue is the sun that shines in through the windows in the early morning can make it difficult to work

Really great atmosphere and even better customer service. The barista happily replaced my drink when I didn't like it, even though she did NOT have to! She was very kind and welcoming. Also the grits are 10/10! I will be back for the lovely gift selection. 👍
