Love it here. Such a cool neighborhood place. They love the neighbors and are super cool. Any coffee shop that plays slow dive and screaming trees is worth visiting. Coffee is great and the bakery is excellent if you are gluten free. A gem on Coventry. Check the hours before going

Phoenix is always a great local place to get a cup of coffee. They have indoor and outdoor seating that's comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I love this place. I've been coming to Phoenix for over a decade, and couldn't imagine going anywhere else for coffee. Most of the staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. The variety of coffees they sell is amazing (in flavor and source*), and my car smells great on my way home from purchasing beans.

Good but bad service and no WIFI available for the customers and they're still asking to wear masks then take off on the table. Doesn't make sense.

Really good coffee and a really friendly staff. My new fave!

A Cortado to write home about paired wonderfully with a fresh blueberry muffin.
The staff at this location is somewhat handsome and very responsive to the needs of the customer. I was overjoyed to share a conversation with today’s barista staff and further thrilled by the quality of my beverage.

One thing of note is that the air was rather moist in the cafe. But do not mistake that for criticism. I found the dampness to be quite appealing as a haven from the warm outside air.
The climate within those plant adorned walls might remind someone of reaching for celery in their local grocery store and getting spritzed by the misting system above.

Wonderful experience. Thank you Phoenix.

Had a really bad experience. Was with a person whose first language wasn't English and they struggled to hear the person behind the counter who was masked. The employee proceeded to be very rude and impatient with my friend; who was being exceedingly polite and apologetic while struggling to understand the employee who was speaking very rapidly, mumbling a bit, and behind a mask.
As we sat and talked I noticed the employee showing the same impatience to some customers. It became clear that women, particularly non-white women did not get the best treatment. Most of the customers who came in were women, and many non-white, so I'm not dropping hard Rs here, BUT they way he treated my friend when she was so clearly struggling was beyond just rude it was insulting. I can't see going back. Not just because the tea was stale or the coffee not too great or even that the pastries were clearly a few days old -- I put up with that at a few places because it's just the way it is sometimes, to paraphrase Frank Jackson -- but the jerk behind the counter was a deal breaker.

Wonderful baristas, great tea, and delicious baked goods. I come here all the time for a tea latte, and getting lactose-free Oatmilk is free for any drink, which is great for my intolerance and my wallet
