BLOC Coffee Company

Clean, great prices, better coffee, some good food, and a mix of seating. Both the coffee and food use high quality ingredients. You'd think with all that they'd be pretentious, but it's also the most laid back coffee shop I've ever visited. Well worth the trip if you don't live nearby.

Food tasted great. Coffee was too strong for me. Had to use a lot of sugar.

Nice atmosphere low key enjoyable retro style. Coffee is a good costa rican blend with a light earthen flavor. I had the espresso that was slightly strong in flavor but not an over kill. Nicely done. John T.

Abso-frikin-loutely the best chai latte I've ever had. Perfect foam layer on top. Amazingly delicious coffee. Funky atmosphere.
Only downside is, it's a little off my usual beaten path

Such a cool spot. Stopped in for the first time for a cup of coffee with a friend, and someone (maybe the owner) brought us some complimentary pretzel and beer cheese on the house, which was awesome!!!! For sure will return

Such a wonderful, warm atmosphere! The staff was super friendly and the food warmed my soul while the fellowship warmed my heart! Look for Fri/Sat night hours coming soon!

Visiting from out of town, I went on a mission to find the best espresso in the city. Sidewinder was solid, collective was better, BLOC is the absolute best. The balance in flavor is so perfectly tuned that it would be silly to attempt describing traits.

Just as big of a surprise is the food. When I initially heard the food here described as gourmet I was highly skeptical. That word is thrown around undeservingly and far too often. One sandwich later and I can honestly say ive never had a better breakfast sandwich.

My only complaint is that they're not open 7 days a week and that I didn't try them on previous visits to the city.

Some of the best coffee in the city. Relaxed clean atmosphere. Hip , without pretense. Enjoy your Joe, bring a laptop, get a few things done.

Just started coming here last week. Good coffee, community message, punch card, and free WiFi. Ideal little spot. Just wish there were more drink options and coupons would be cool, too.

Super cool vibe, from both the staff AND the customers. Perfect combination of hipness and hominess. One of the best Matcha Lattes I've ever had. Goetta sandwich was super tasty, too.
