BLOC Coffee Company

Homey feel coffee shop. Delicious food. I got a Turkey sandwich, and although that sounds boring it tasted phenomenal. However they made it tasted well above average. Great coffee. And the upstairs spot is a bright and beautiful place to work.

Was in a weekend getaway and needed to try a great coffee shop. First off, the iced mocha was so good I had to tip the barista again! The chipotle Goetta sandwich was also amazing! I did however feel the staff were a little too short and non helpful. It’s an out of towner I felt a bit off asking for things and just didn’t feel engaged with them. This is not normal to me for a coffee shop, at least in Nashville. I would still come back again because the coffee was so good. Maybe it was an off day?

Delicious little coffee shop with great breakfast and coffee/tea options. It's in a beautiful building, very well kept with friendly staff! They sell succulents (little plants), coffee beans, and they're non-profit, supporting local industries. Absolutely worth swinging by for a strong cup of coffee and a friendly attitude (and I'm sure smiles behind the masks). Great place, we will be coming back quite a bit!!

Amazing as usual. Our group ordered breakfast sandwiches and the bear claw french toast (so yummy!!!). Everything on the menu is delicious, fresh and well made! Drinks are so diverse and well done. The manager really puts in the time to be creative with menu items and researches new ways to make coffee regularly. They also have so excellent beer choices for later in the day! This is a must visit place if you're in Cincinnati!!

The staff at BLOC coffee are great: helpful, courteous, and low-key, perfect for this little west side coffee shop. The place has great music (at least when I've been there), the furniture is a beautiful DIY wood variety (although I enjoy bench seating and not a lot of cushion) and it's not too loud or busy. I also saw that they have a happy Hour from 5 to 7 of their alcoholic drink menu!
The cortado is great, especially with their single-origin beans, and they have almond, soy, and oat for milk alternatives. I really recommend the espresso drinks if you like espresso, as the cortado I had was surprisingly smooth, not bitter (compared to other faster large chain coffee proprietors) but still very robust. The special skill of the baristas is obvious here.
Highly recommend this place if you're a west-sider looking for great coffee close to home or anyone looking for a nice atmosphere with good drinks.
Fall 2022 update: The seasonal drinks are great. Ordered a butterscotch latte today and its to die for 👌
