Beans Coffee Shop & Bistro

Cozy coffee shop, great place to visit. Coffee was excellent, and the muffins were worth the calories! They warm them up, too. They use real mugs, spoons and plates which is a very nice touch. Went there with family that was visiting from out of town, and they said they want to go back to Beans next time they are here.

Great coffee house! We've been coming here for over 15 years! They have a grill and a surprisingly diverse menu for a coffee house. Prices are a bit higher than average but not ridiculously. We always think of it like the coffee house equivalent of "Cheers". If you are near Chardon and want a cup of coffee and / or a snack check it out!

I drive about 45 minutes out of my way every weekend to get a cup of coffee from my favorite place! The owner & staff are so friendly & welcoming. Not to mention it’s the ONLY place I can find with a lot of gluten free options.

A wide variety of coffee, breakfast, and lunch items to choose from, with healthy options available. I really enjoy the frappes, but the hot drink are delicious too.

A touch out of the way for me, but will definitely go again. There is room to sit inside, relax and eat, and enjoy the amazing aromas. Staff is friendly and fast. Decor has a homey, comforting feel. I was confused by the coffee/refill situation at first, especially when they have pump pots out for customers to serve themselves and offer either dine-in or to-go cups when ordering.

I needed a place to chill and do some work. A friend recommended this coffee shop. The light roast is delightful. I also had the egg salad sandwich, which was delicious. They have veggie options, which I appreciate, and some gluten free for those who are looking. Nice nonlyrical music in the background, so it's easy to let it just hang out in the background without disrupting your thinking.

My daughter and I visited and two different employees were rude and snappy towards us at different times when there was no reason to be. The entire place has an unfriendly vibe. It’s not just an off day there either. It’s obviously a place we would not return to or recommend to anyone. Food and drink were only ok. Smoothie was not smooth at all- lots of large ice chunks. However, for something along these lines in Chardon, the food, drinks, vibe, people, and atmosphere at Buckeye are wonderful. We are not trying to promote Buckeye: just contrasting two very different experiences.
