The Depot Cafe

This is one of the few breakfast restaurants left in Jamestown.
Excellent food, cost is just as much as eating at most fast food places now.
Soda pop is expensive, but you do get free refills.
An older clientele that have been going for years.
Staff is great.

This is a great place to get breakfast. It's nothing fancy but it's good food. I recommend the train wreck with hash browns and two over easy eggs on top. I think the train wreck would probably also be really good with hollandaise sauce on top.

Hometown flavor, great atmosphere-- clearly a local favorite. Come on a Thursday and stay for the knoephla!

Very satisfying and hearty lunch. This made a great stop while on a road trip. A short drive through town and next to a neighborhood for a short walk after. The half portion of the turkey dinner is plenty.

Great breakfast! I always try to stop in when I'm visiting Jamestown.

Very slow to seat even when multiple tables available. We we ignored until a young man seated us. This is the second experience. A week ago we waited 20 minutes to be seated and finally left. Food is mediocre at best, but not many other choices available downtown.

Not reviewing food: Website not updated, Facebook not updated. They closed at 1pm. We are from Seattle, driving through, would have made it in plenty of time if they kept their info updated. Was looking forward to eating here all day, went to museum first to avoid lunch rush. Ugh! We were directed to their sister restaurant with stale bread and undressed Caesar salad. Praying the entree is better.. Huge disappointment…

This was by far one of the most racist establishments I’ve ever been to in my life ! From start to finish . As soon as we entered we started getting dirty looks and stares from not only the customers but the staff as well the waitress even went to the extent of saying be careful I would stab you with a pen . Waited on everyone around us didn’t as us for a refill or anything just flat out rude . Just know if our of color your not welcomed here at all ! I will never be back !

Food was good. Service was lacking. Beverage I ordered was not served but was on the bill, we had two employees taking care of our table. One was too busy throwing herself at my companion to pay attention to me. I did get it taken off the bill.

The food here is always delicious and the staff are very friendly.
