Review of Hornbacher's
Hornbacher's: A Fargo Staple for Over 70 Years
Hornbacher's is a grocery store and coffee shop located in Fargo, North Dakota. Since 1951, this family-owned business has been providing the community with high-quality groceries, meats, and produce. The store is open every day from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, making it a convenient option for busy shoppers.
One of the standout features of Hornbacher's is its deli, bakery, and floral departments. The deli offers a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, and hot foods, making it a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. The bakery produces fresh bread, pastries, and cakes daily, and the floral department offers beautiful arrangements for any occasion.
While Hornbacher's has a great selection of products, some customers have noted that the prices can be higher than competitors. However, the store's customer service is consistently praised, with friendly and helpful staff members. The store is also known for being clean and well-organized.
Overall, Hornbacher's is a beloved local business that has been a part of the Fargo community for generations. Whether you're in need of groceries, a quick meal, or a beautiful bouquet of flowers, Hornbacher's is a great option.

Great selection of food. It's really close to our home, and we are able to find everything we need when we go. They have a wide variety of fresh and frozen foods, as well as a number of milk alternatives, which is a big deal with our son who gets horrible diaper rash anytime he gets milk in his system.

This is my go to place for groceries. There is never a wait and they always have what I need in stock. Check out Caribou Coffee while you are on scene they have a legit happy hour every day. Who doesn't like 1/2 priced beverages.

Very clean store, easy to navigate. Products are pretty fairly priced, sometimes cheaper than Wal-Mart. My only complaint is the registers, it's awkward to weave around the candy and drinks to pay, and walking through the registers to get into the store from the left most entrance is weird. Overall I enjoy shopping here

High prices and no baggers or carryout available.

The place is well kempt for the most part. They even recently did a complete waxing of the white floor. I haven't had any incidents here. I also like MOST of the cashiers who ring you.
There were a few who obviously didn't want to be there and didn't hide it very well. (Not that I blame them, we've all been in their shoes at some point.) I've had a rather high number of molded produce however.
Other than that, I don't have any complaints other than produce needs to be better rotated, and on a side note, shelf's don't seem to get restocks very often, so you'll sometimes come by something you're looking for only for it to not be on the shelf. This is a very minor inconvenience though as you can easily ask for someone to see if they have more in the back.
All in all a better experience than most other grocery locations.

Raising their prices I don't think it was the way to go Deli service getting horrible quality of Delhi getting horrible people are paying that high price it's sitting on the shelves watch them throw away lots of produce hope they donate it are they should reduce the price to get rid of it before it's bad you still like shopping there

I shop here once a week for certain things like the organic meats and vegetables, or my guilty pleasure hostess brand desserts. I would enjoy shopping here more if there was a self check out. Some cashiers are picky about who they choose to walk up to to let them know they are open, and I'd prefer not to have to hunt someone down, or break up a group of 4 or 5 that gathered in the front to talk.

This grocery store is beautiful. It may have the largest Deli I've ever seen. They have a huge selection of cold case salads and meats. They have plants, flowers, balloons, cards, gifts and anything else you may need for your family and friends. There is a coffee shop inside which is very convenient. It's a great store.
