Review of Hornbacher's
Hornbacher's: A Fargo Staple for Over 70 Years
Hornbacher's is a grocery store and coffee shop located in Fargo, North Dakota. Since 1951, this family-owned business has been providing the community with high-quality groceries, meats, and produce. The store is open every day from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, making it a convenient option for busy shoppers.
One of the standout features of Hornbacher's is its deli, bakery, and floral departments. The deli offers a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, and hot foods, making it a great spot for a quick lunch or dinner. The bakery produces fresh bread, pastries, and cakes daily, and the floral department offers beautiful arrangements for any occasion.
While Hornbacher's has a great selection of products, some customers have noted that the prices can be higher than competitors. However, the store's customer service is consistently praised, with friendly and helpful staff members. The store is also known for being clean and well-organized.
Overall, Hornbacher's is a beloved local business that has been a part of the Fargo community for generations. Whether you're in need of groceries, a quick meal, or a beautiful bouquet of flowers, Hornbacher's is a great option.

A Guy
Your average grocery store. The folks working here are nice and helpful. Shout-out to miles because that guy is a real stand-up guy. They seem like the person I would drink coffee with. They have a caribou coffee shop inside as well.

It's a corporate owed store but at one point in time I knew all the employees and they always made the store feel like it was a family business. It was warm, happy, smiles and lots of jokes to go around. But that's part of what made it so special and of course the employees. And I've noticed in the last 6 months a lot of employees are gone. Prices have increased and it seemed like a corporate owed store again and not your neighborhood grocer. Over all quality of products are good except for the price increase.

Nice store but the lady that was handling the flowers needs a customer service class

I had a particularly pleasant visit to the Osgood Hornbacher's 2/16. I appreciate the staff wearing masks to protect their customers and I in turn wear one to protect them. I was not able to find the barley I typically buy. I stopped to ask an employee and was told he thought they were out, however I could ask at customer service. I went to the grain aisle to choose an alternative grain and the employee found me and said, he had checked with customer service and showed me the barley options (they were out of the kind I typically buy) but there was another option. At the checkout, greeted by a young gal named Raynee and her grocery bagger (?Barry) who were pleasant and efficient. Asked how I wanted to my reusable bags packed (light vs heavy) and wrapped the meat in plastic before going into the main bag. I have shopped at horbachers for years due to their good quality and wide variety. I just recently started shopping at the Osgood location as moved further south in Fargo. Was particularly impressed with this visit. Thanks.
