Employee parked in handicapped spot off the clock. States he didn't know it was a handicap spot. Poor employee and immoral human. No pictures but I do have video with the employee talking to me and the obvious marking for the spot. Also left his cigarette pack upon his exodus which I do have a pic of. I can't imagine buying any kind of food from a store with such sloppy employees with no regard for customers or aesthetics.

I'm the blue/greened haired girl Emily that used to work there. The new manager Kelsey, was harassing me. I reported it, and for that got transferred to the Kinston store. The manager there, let me take the week off until everything with HR was handled. Then I was called and told "I quit" so they basically fired me and are saying it's my fault. Because I make an HR claim. I'm so sorry everyone is having a bad experience now.

Rena was so awesome, I went in she had her mask on, im hearing impaired she was very patient, then my chip didnt worksled she pull her mask down and help me make my purchase, she was very patient n respectful!

Stopped in Christmas night after being on the road for a couple of hours. Our 6 year old needed to use the restroom. My husband took him in and the clerk refused to let him use it claiming the rest rooms were “closed for cleaning” . She was extremely rude and had an attitude. So, we left drove 2 minutes down the road to their competition (Sheetz) used the rest room and spent our money there. We will never stop again at this Handy Mart.

I have stopped by this store plenty of times and gotten held up due to long lines, which I understand due to the time of day and the location but never again will my family or I even attempt to purchase anything from this store.

It is 5:15 on a Tuesday afternoon, the parking lot is slammed between prospective customers and guests for Lil Caesars, attached to the same building. I get to the door of the gas station to find an employee holding the double-swinging doors closed and she points at a sign stuck to the door with tape that says the store will be temporarily closed April 4 at 9 AM.
I made eye contact with the employee securing the door again and mouthed "is everything OK?" To which she replied by angrily pointing at the tape once again. I reread the sign because I was obviously missing something but upon second inspection, I realized that the door said nothing whatsoever about being closed at 5 PM.

What kind of management makes that decision? Makes me rethink every time I walk under that red sign instead finding a blue or green sign instead! At least they'll be open!!

I was there the day before the hurricane was suppose to hit our area. There were several customers in the store and they had 2 checkouts open. Service was fast.
