Clutch Coffee Bar

I've never been to Clutch Coffee before but decided to check them out. I visited the Winston-Salem location since it was closest to me.

I was looking to try one of their newer sandwiches, but the cashier told me that she highly recommended the Waffle Sandwich and that I should give it a try so I went with her recommendation. I also decided to complement the sandwich with a mango smoothie to treat myself after a long work week.

When I received the sandwich, I was slightly disappointed to see it prepackaged and heated up in a plastic bag. The waffles that were used for the bread were a bit too moist for my liking but were sweetened at an appropriate level. Overall, the sandwich was not overbearingly sweet. At 500 calories, it is definitely a hefty breakfast for a quick meal. The mango smoothie was a nice treat for a warm, summer day. The mango flavor profile was present. The only downside about this smoothie is the price for the amount of smoothie you get.

WORTH IT? Maybe, if you're looking to venture out and try all the different coffee shops in Winston-Salem. (Overall 5.5/10)

This beats any coffee shop I've ever been to. It's delicious and the people that work there are so sweet.

Fantastic Service with a smile, while the coffee is great, the service is fantastic. Friendly folks with great attitudes aiming to please above all else. Thankful to have them in my neighborhood!

My favorite coffee bar. The staff is amazingly friendly! Always quick service as well.

Tried their caramel iced macchiato and it’s delicious! They offer milk substitution, which is great. Used their drive thru system and the service was fast & very friendly. I will be coming back for sure!

Clutch comes in “clutch”… always! I generally like my coffee black through my pour over, but occasionally I like a specialty coffee drink, smoothie, or lemonade… for those times, Clutch is the best! Clutch is WAY better than the other place that charges “bucks” for their coffee :-), and their people & customer service are AMAZING. My favorites are the Irish Dream, Caramel Macchiato, the Mango Strawberry smoothie… and for a really hot day in NC… a frozen lemonade with blackberry.

I love Clutch! I usually get a Trifecta and it’s always good. Their smoothies are also great and it’s nice to mix flavors to create something unique. The employees are always nice….Emma, Jordan, Tre, Emily…just to name a few ;)

Lovely place to get any drink your heart desires! The people working there are always so friendly and do little things that make me want to keep coming back!

Had lots of different coffees and a lot cheaper than Starbucks will be going back to try more flavors

I can only give an opinion on the flavor of their cappuccino because I received a drink from my son. It was creamy, right amount of sweetness and a hint of pumpkin spice. I would prefer more pumpkin flavor.
