This little truck stop / Cafe is hands down the best place to eat within a hundred miles either way of I-40 .
The people are nice .
Cooks and waiters .
Food is great .
I'd advise anyone running i-40 to stop .

Not sure why I cant post a picture BUT... My husband called in a patty melt... the phone showed my name on their caller ID (our phones are in my name). They gave him a completely BURNT black sandwich (you couldnt tell if it was rye, sourdough, or what) thats how burnt it was. Then I posted it on facebook and their employee Jade said I took the sandwitch home and burnt it myself!!! This place is discusting and has rodent issues. They have no clue how to efficently run a resturant as they are to conserned about charging the customers for a spoonful of cheese on their grits, than giving them what they ordered while their food is hot. I live in the community and would love to grab a sandwitch there from time to time, BUT, if they have an employee that doesn't like you, they allow that to effect your quality of food. Sad but true!!!

After reading the reviews on this restaurant. We decided to give it a try. I first ordered the chilli it would have been good but was brought to me cold. I would have told the waitress but she never come back. My club sandwich was good. My husband's hot dog was cold as well. Flavors are their. Just need to make sure ya'll serve hot food hot. And less high school drama going on, went back to give them another chance. It was better.

Just looking for a great breakfast place to eat on our way home from the Biltmore and we found it!!!! They had fried bologna as a breakfast meat...which was delicious...and liver mush...which we decided to pass on. It has the great feel of an old diner. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. You could tell they had a number of loyal regulars!

Nice hidden cafe next to a gas station. Staff was great and friendly. Had the grilled cheese and fried okra. Very good.

Great comfort food from a diverse menu. Save room for pies as dessert! Staff is always nice, too.
We like to sit at the counter when possible.

Breakfast was a hit! The flavor of my hash browns with onions, mushrooms and cheddar was mouth watering!! My eggs cooked to perfection and I’m not joking! I asked for medium well and the whites were cooked all the way while my yolk was semi cooked. Service was fast thanks to Brooklyn!! Staff was also friendly! I forgot to take a picture because I ate it so fast! 😁

ALWAYS a great place to eat - breakfast, lunch, dinner, or in between. Super friendly staff and customers. Food is great. Service is fast and friendly. The place is always clean. Prices are definitely reasonable. Be HUNGRY when you arrive!! I’m there at least twice a week.
