Best meal I have had in a long time. My fist impression upon entering was how clean, bright and appealing the atmosphere is. I just can’t say enough! Staff was pleasant and attentive. My wife had the chicken tips and I had the fried steak. Both were absolutely amazing and the sides as well. In town for three days and I plan on eating dinner there again . Actually headed there for breakfast right now.

Check this place out! So glad we stopped on our way through. Charming little diner with awesome service. Lots of food options and our waitress recommend several items. Even though we couldn’t try them all I believe her when she said they are all good! Also loved the cinnamon roll.

Stopped for late lunch/early dinner and they didn't disappoint. Its very close to I-40 which I love. Food was good and the price was pretty good too. Definitely worth a stop for something non-chain on your next road trip out this way!

Places like this can be hit or miss. This one is definitely a hit. The service was very good and attentive. The chicken fingers I ordered arrived quick and were cooked perfectly and juicy. The place is very clean as well. I can’t believe I’ve never known of this place. I will definitely return.

Excellent meal! Chicken noodle soup was delicious and had homemade noodles! Soooo good. Fried okra was tender and flavorful. I had the chicken tips with onions and peppers. Husband had the outstanding club sandwich. Lovely outdoor seating area. Room to park our 26 foot UHaul. Cute decor. Good service by Tressa. I would definitely eat here again.

If mediocre food at inflationary prices and slow service with friendly apologies is your cup of tea, then this is your place.

I just discovered this place about an hour ago. It looks and seems like a place you'd enjoy grabbing a meal. The staff are nice, however, the wait to get my order taken was 30 minutes. A gentlemen sat in the next booth and his order was taken and delivered and I'm still awaiting mine. My waitress has apologized a couple times, for not taking my order and for the lengthy delay to delivering my food but here I sit still waiting with time enough to write this review. My food has just arrived. I'll conclude this review once I've tried the food. The opening paragraph captures the sentiment of my experience.

Came in looking for soup, greeted by friendly faces. And it was 5 minutes till close so ask for togo and they said we could stay with another smile. Great piece of Americana dining . Ended up getting 2 bowls of chili. Thanks for your service and food

209 Café never disappoints! This was a take out order and when I got home I didn’t know if I should eat it because it was so beautifully made. I did eat it though, it didn’t just look nice, it’s delicious! Oh, and their service is always amazing! Meal is a Turkey Club and Fried Okra, don’t forget to ask for their ranch. 🥰

Very nice staff, good portions, just right in size (even for kids), clean restrooms and a welcoming atmosphere.

Our server was great. Suggested the Philly cheese steak. Great suggestion! I had the trout with lemon pepper. Everything was very good and very reasonably priced. As for the reviews that stated there was very little meat on the philly, I strongly disagree, just look at the photo attached. When we return from Florida this is definitely on our list of places to go!
