Black & White Coffee Rolesville

I actually thought about this for a couple days before I wrote this review. I went in with my friend a couple days ago and totally did not read the sign on the door that said that the kitchen closed at two. We arrived at 2:10 and I asked for the avocado toast and he said the kitchen closed and I laughed at myself because I should’ve read the sign. I went on to order a caramel latte. The flavors were not listed on the big sign with the lattes but rather a little sign on the counter that was flipped so only the cashier could see them. Once he told me he didn’t have them I jokingly said “you’re killing me smalls” which he replied with “ I don’t see how this is my fault considering you clearly don’t know how to read and should’ve done your research before you walked into our shop“ I was very taken back and instead of sitting down and enjoying our coffee we took our coffee to go.

The coffee was fantastic but the service was unacceptable

Easily accessible, B&W offers coffee and espresso drinks, as well as food, that I'll give a 4 out of 5. The drinks could have had a little more complexity and the breakfast slightly more flavorful. Don't get me wrong, both were good. They just could have been better.

The staff was pleasant and the whole place seemed clean; I didn't use the restroom. They were pretty quick about putting together our order, too.

I reserve 5/5 stars for reviews where I can find no immediate need or room for improvement. If you're in need of caffeine or your stomach is rumbling, you should definitely pop into B&W. You'll be in and out and happy, but not blown away.

So glad they now have a location which also serves food!! Now I can have my favorite coffee with a breakfast or lunch meal!

Seriously though... I love this coffee. Absolutely wonderful!! I always get a macchiato (not to be confused with how that big brand does them). The traditional macchiato is so tasty. There is no need for loads of sugar and added flavors like caramel. As long as your coffee is good, life is good!!

Onto the food. So far all I’ve had is the Italian. It was awesome. Prosciutto is superb especially when paired with the other quality ingredients they use like mozzarella!!

Go. Try. Eat. Yum!!

The drinks were good, the food was alright, but we got our food at such disparate times, despite being ordered at the same time. Made dining as a family a little challenging.

I've been on a quest to ensure I review the small local restaurants and coffee shops I visit that have excellent because my goodness I have not had great experiences from large chains (taco bell down the road literally locks their customers out when they get busy 🙃).

Black and White is amazing they always have been the selections are wonderful, the vibe is perfectly calm and modern, and this location has food too that it's DELICIOUS. On top of it all they are all SO nice! Please come support this local business you will not leave disappointed.

First of all this is only my second time coming and I literally would spend $10 on a coffee if I had to just to get the customer service experience black and white provides!!! The last two visits Alivia helped me and was super sweet and professional. Clay made an awesome latte and Mack greeted me when I came through the door. Overall, excellent service and even better food!!!!!

This is my local coffee spot. When I first moved to the area I didn't expect a decent coffee shop, but I was absolutely blown away by the coffee here. They are true coffee scientists!

I love the vanilla latte either iced or hot! The service is always quick and the staff is so friendly. I’m so happy that B&W coffee is only 1 min from my house ❤️
