Front Porch Cafe-Manteo

I only wish that I could visit every day, several times a day. Of course the coffee's are incredible, but there is so much more to choose from. The teas, pastries, and yes beer! And Adison and the staff are the best! Wonderful place to relax on the weekends and even better to get my weekdays cranking! Love the Front Porch.

Ham, egg and cheese croissant was very good. Nice breakfast and coffee spot!

Wide variety of coffee brews are always available, and they have creative latte combinations. Pastry section is fresh and the banana nut muffins are the perfect size. I appreciate that they use paper straws to minimize plastic in our waters!

Great coffee and a friendly staff. The inside has a variety of seating options, from couches to tables to what looks like a conference/large dining table which makes me believe that just about anyone can find a place to park for a few hours should they so desire. Or you could even sit in the rocking chairs outside and watch the day go by.

I used to love the place even though the price was high for the amount you would get on the ice drinks, but once they got rid of the straws they lost me. How can you serve ice and frozen drinks with whip cream without a straw? Some people have sensitive teeth and can't drink ice drinks without a straw!
Update they got straws back in, so now I am back in there because they do make great coffee drinks

I love this place. The coffee is always fresh, the people are nice and the food is tasty. But the thing I love most about this place is the space. You don't feel like you are on top of other customers, and you can an easy conversation.

Quick in and out with coffee. Nothing special. Maybe if I came back more often.
I don't get around much because don't drive.

excellent coffee!! Would have given 5 stars, except for the fact they had paper straws only!! it would have been nice to have the option of using a plastic straw, for those that want paper straws! Great! For the rest of us, just give us the option of choosing a plastic straw!!
