Front Porch Cafe-Manteo

Went here after the nice reviews and it was fine, but nothing to brag about. 15 dollars got us a ham and cheese croissant, a spinach and feta croissant and two iced coffees. Iced coffees were nothing I’d return for. Food was fine. Asked for a water cup and got a cup that held about two gulps of water. They do have lots of local artists products to buy like coffee cups, wine cups and post cards. They seemed to do a great business

Bakery items are fresh and yummy. We tried breakfast croissants, spinach and cheese danish. Also coffee and tea. We visited two locations in outer banks and both has good outdoor and indoor dining. Prices are a bit high but you can get fresh bakery products. If you want to try pastries, make sure you visit the place before 11am.

Not so friendly staff, good coffee and reasonable prices. The lady who took my order was possibly having a bad day, was rude- had a poor attitude and then accidentally dropped the coins of my change on the counter. She looked at the coins rolling around, handed me the bills and turned around. Was quite surprised that she didn't even try to pick it up, just walked away. That's not the kind of person a business should have interacting with the public. Not going to return anytime soon.

Just a very cool place to read, work on the computer, meet a friend, or just relax. Good coffee, good service, easy parking. I'm a fairly new, regular visitor to Manteo, best place I've found.... 😀

Huge space with plenty of seating and outlets (and wifi). My partner loved the atmosphere- this was his favorite coffee shop that we stopped at on our trip. Pretty pricey though, as the pastries/drinks we got were just alright.

Egg, cheese and ham croissant was delicious! We got it two days in a row. Iced late was good. Cozy, beachy and eclectic vibe with lots of seating options. Popular summer breakfast to-go spot. Steadily busy but the wait wasn’t too long.

This is a small neighborhood cafe but yet has a big warm welcoming vibe. This was my first visit here as I was only passing through and no Starbucks close. I am glad that i was able to get my usual order from this place. I didn't give it a 5 star rating only because parking is limited, it offers outside seating as well as adequate indoor but only a handful of parking which half is marked for deliveries. I would definitely visit again if I am in the area.

Best coffee on the beach for both drinks and beans. Their merch is stellar and every time I go in I am tempted to buy at least 5 items other than my food. Love love love it!

Great coffee. Also they have creative coffee options. I got a apple pie latte and it was delicious and tasted like an apple pie. Was perfect for my ride home. They don’t use straws so if that’s your thing there’s a plus. I don’t really like the no straw movement and was nervous they were going to give me a paper one or bamboo straw. But they didn’t and it’s an open lip cup which worked well! They have some neat little items they sell there as well. I also got some chocolate covered espresso beans and they packed a punch but not on taste. Staff was friendly and if I’m ever in the area I will return!

Good atmosphere, fair trade beans, and local brews on tap and in the fridge. I really liked the atmosphere, prices were decent (a bottle of beer was $2, a GIANT and tasty cookie was $1.75). The only thing that prevents me from giving it five stars is just that I didn't think their locally roasted coffee was exceptional. It was good, but it's not something I'd wake up and get excited about in the morning.
