Food is always good. Love this place

Terrible service. We waited over an hour for undercooked, doughy biscuits and flavorless gravy. The coffee was burnt and smelled too bad to even try. We got ignored or snapped at when trying to request our food to be fixed correctly or for those who had regular drinks to get refills. If I could give it zero stars, I would! I rarely give 1 stars as I can normally find something good to say about a place. The only good I can find about this place is that we eventually left.

The marinated, grilled chicken breast was very tender, juicy and flavorful! Really enjoyed the okra, green beans and warm cornbread muffin, too! My husband loved the cheeseburger & waffle fries, too! Great sweet tea, too! Prompt and friendly service as well! Will definitely visit again :)

Quaint place, hidden in the back. Super sweet ladies tend to everyone. Breakfast is at the southern pace, nice and slow. So if you are in a rush, go somewhere else. Plenty of time to chat with your table mates as well as neighbors. Good coffee! Recommend the western omelette. Enjoy!!

I would say this is your typical small home town style restaurant. This is where the real locals come to eat breakfast I'd say. Growing up country from NC, it felt like 40 years ago atmosphere with the same menu and similar pricing. I had the country ham egg and cheese sandwich on toast. It tasted like the ones my dad use to make before we would head out to the field for the morning work. The only difference was dad would put Duke's and pepper on it too. The biscuits here are 5 🌟. Very fluffy and moist

Was very happy to walk in the the restaurant and see that the employees were wearing masks and customers/tables were socially distant. The food did not disappoint. Homestyle food at its finest. Menu has a great variety, atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. Will recommend over and over.

The service was wonderful waitress was courteous and very friendly food was so great delicious very good place to eat I will definitely tell friends and family about the log house smithy's restaurant!

I will admit I was skeptical. I have been in meat and three resturants that the food tasted like it was poured from a can to the plate. The food was great! The cornbread muffins were a hit. Not the sugary cake kind, but true local mountain people good. Staff were attentive.

Great food and reasonably priced. Employees used to be wonderful. Went in 5/29/19 we sat 15 minutes 3 tables all had received food. Never even took a drink order much less food. Never have had worst service. She acknowledged us but never waited on us.
