Many vegan options. Delicious! I had the Nutrition 101, Vegan Panini, and Momentum Smoothie. It's a beautiful place full of warmth and goodness. Thank you for being open over the Thanksgiving holidays!

Had a great experience stumbling on this cute, friendly cafe in search of vegetarian food with interesting flair and reasonable prices. Really enjoyed the food and the service and will go back. Try the V-Go Panini and any of the fresh smoothies.

Tip-top quality food. Every bite was perfectly fresh and completely enjoyable. I'm an Asheville vegetarian and my husband is a vegan We've been in OBX for 6 days and, up until today, found a paucity of fresh and healthy food.
The Outer Bean offers fresh, healthy, and DELICIOUS food. Our salad was perfect and perfectly fresh - apples, cukes, tomatoes, olives, onions, greens, feta. The balsamic vinaigrette is extra-delicious. Our panini were carefully prepared - every bite so tasty. I wish we could eat here again for dinner (they close at 3pm).

Wonderful customer service and amazing fresh sandwiches ! I was happily surprised at the quality of the food with tons of vegetarian options! Would definitely recommend going here and one can always feel free to ask for less sweetness if they’re a bitter coffee drinker like myself :) super accommodating!

The salmon and greens salad was awesome, and I don't like salad! The young people working at Outer Bean were very impressive. Very respectful, kind and engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed eating there and will go back in the morning for breakfast juice!!!

We ordered the cold Almond Joy latte with almond milk and the hot Cinnamon Mocha latte with almond milk - both were delicious. Service is super friendly and helpful. Lots of vegetarian whole food menu options. Great place for a healthy brunch or lunch.

I came here last year and it was delicious, staff was polite. I wanted to support a vegan Establishment since there aren’t many so I decided to call in an order. When I ordered, the woman on the phone was extremely rude to me. She snapped at me, “why didn’t You order online!?” and asked me to wait while she yelled at one of the other servers. Felt uncomfortable picking up the food. Yikes

Wow! Glad I found this online as I would not generally take a risk on a strip mall coffee shop. Not your average coffee shop. Walking in, you are enveloped in the scents of warm spices and warm lighting. It changed my whole day.

Friendly and helpful staff thinking of a more interesting multicultural fare than most. It seems like they host some great events as well.

The coffee was lovely and I wish I had planned for food here as well. We will be returning.

I feel so lucky to have found this place on my vacation to the outer banks! Upon arriving, the sweet lady who owns it opened the door for us and welcomed us in. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! My latte was amazing and was the good espresso I’ve been looking for since I arrived. My fiancé had a mimosa (well, several mimosas) with fresh squeezed orange juice and a generous serving of champagne... for $3.99! An excellent deal when you expect prices to be inflated everywhere you go. My sandwich was the best thing I’ve eaten so far and was also a steal. We can’t wait to come back tomorrow with the family!!
