Outer Bean Cafe

We came in for breakfast after our original plans fell through and let me tell you, this was DELICIOUS! We tried the bacon, egg, and cheese on focaccia, the açaí bowl, and we each got lattes all of which were absolutely incredible. The lavender iced latte was especially amazing. The woman running the shop was very kind and very quick and was training a young girl who was also very kind and working so hard. Will definitely return on our next trip to OBX.

Great place for coffee and breakfast. Iced coffee with coconut flavor was amazing. Bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll was warm amd delicious! Definitely will be back!

Great food and great prices. I tried the vegan salad and the veggie panini. Very good if you are looking for something healthy. Lots of toppings on the salad! Yum!

Popped in for a quick breakfast on our way out of town. Very tasty and there was something for everyone. As a vegan in the outer banks it was much appreciated!

Food is great. Does force you to use an application to order. Confirms the order via text. Doesn’t say when complete. Updated the order status and said 25 minutes….updated status several times with no response. After 40 minutes of waiting and the only ones inside we asked. Insinuated it was our fault. No one thought to ask why we were there for 40 minutes. We got a “next time”. Don’t tip in advance. Even though food was great, doubt we will be back.

I visited the cafe on reopening day and it was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I got the egg & cheese focaccia with a OBX break smoothie. Everything was delicious. I sat outside and enjoyed my breakfast. I would definitely return!

Delicious, high quality, and reasonably priced breakfast spot. Very nice and courteous staff. Smoothies are healthy and taste great! We ordered breakfast every morning during our stay in Kitty Hawk. Great healthy alternative to the desert style of Duck Donuts. We will definitely be back!

More of a juice bar than a coffee bar. They were pretty busy when we went and everyone’s orders got screwed up, we were told “a lot of people have the same name” but I didn’t hear a single name called out that was the same as another. The iced coffee that it took us 45 minutes to get is also just not very good

Love this spot. We went 3x already during our week vacation. The smoothies are delicious...we tried the captain, life, and a ginger turmeric smoothie. The iced latte was along perfect. To eat, we tried the vegan sandwich, the tomato basil panini, and hummus panini. They were all awesome.

We started ordering online to pick up, which is a nice option. The staff are friendly and quick, and seem to be safe wearing masks and taking precautions. Highly recommend!!

The vegan sandwich here is top notch. Focaccia is delicious, the hummus is outstanding, the olive tapenade exquisite, and the apple puts it over the top 👌 excellently paired with my soy latte. Best meal I had all week, so I had it twice.
