The food was divine! (We had breakfast) The pancakes were huge so you only need one to fill up! The service was fast and had your food out quickly. Would definitely recommend.

It's always a joy to visit. It's really a family meeting place to reconnect with our family on my dad side of the family. Also, whenever my friends visit from Georgia... This is another place we reconnect. I'll always revisit, for we have great memories there! The staff is so nice and welcoming always! I love this place! It's absolutely fabulous! 💞❣️🥰🤩☺️

Lovicks has been a part of the heart of Kinston since 1941. The Lovick family started out selling dough burgers in that same building back then and still continue to do so. They have added and lot of new things to their menu however people return from all over to get them another dough burger. I worked there for serval years and we have people come from New York City every year and they would buy them 25 to 50 dough burger Pattie’s uncooked and frozen to take back. They have a friendly atmosphere and great food . If you try the dough burger I suggest getting it toasted with cheese that’s my favorite. However eat only one at a sitting and drink water with it . See they tend to swell in your belly lol that’s one reason they became so popular. Rumor is you can eat one at lunch and then around 3 in the afternoon drink another glass of water and be full again until supper . 🤣

Fantastic place, lots of room to sit. Fast service and cheap food. The food is great, the portions are huge. Be aware the pancakes are plate sized and thick, so I couldn't finish two of them.
