I loved this little coffee shop! I was visiting the area for a little over a week and made multiple stops for my morning coffee throughout my time. I loved the Iced White Hayes & HP Lattes, they both had so much flavor! Also, the cutest little shop to cozy up with a book in! Can't wait to visit in the future again!!

This place is fantastic in every way. They have very excellent equipment, extremely competent and skilled baristas. Their espresso was very well dialed in. Batch brew is super tasty and balanced and they roast their own coffee on site with a Diedrich. Pastries and breakfast croissants were delightful! Highly recommend!

Local to the OBX and this is one of our favorite local coffee shops. Staff is friendly, coffee is amazing, ambience is unique and welcoming.
My go-to is an Iced Caramel Macchiato or an Iced South Swell 🤍

Fantastic coffee. The line was outside of the building when we got there, which should have been our first sign! We got through the line pretty quickly. I got a cold brew, which was very smooth, and overall an easy to drink cold brew (I love cold brew though). My husband got an Inca Mocha, because we thought it would have an interesting flavor- it was delicious! Now I’m wishing I would have gotten 2 drinks! We got two salted caramel mochas for our family, but I’m sure they’ll be delicious and a steamer for our toddler who loved it. So for 5 drinks, and two pastries, it was about $30, which is really decent!
Definitely will be back & do recommend.
UPDATE: We came back this morning because we love it, and I wish I could give them 10 stars!!
Our toddler spilled her apple juice all over the floor and they were so awesome, made her up a new one and cleaned up the floor! They were just overall so kind.
I got the Sweet Baby Jesus and it is awesome, and my husband couldn’t help but get the Inca Mocha again which was just as good! New favorite coffee shop!

Of all the cool little coffee shops in the OBX, Ashley's is definitely our new groove. Small and unassuming on the outside but colorful and eclectic on the inside, this place is a wonderful cozy place to meet friends, work, or just kick back with a good book on a rainy day. Their house-roasted coffee is absolutely fabulous, and Ashley has created some unique and delicious beverages. But what keeps patrons (such as ourselves) returning time after time is the cheerful greeting (usually by name) of patrons as they enter. This is somewhere where someone can develop a "usual", an increasingly rare thing. You can expect to find Ashley at the espresso machine or baking some of the best spinach-feta pastries I've ever had, or maybe with a ukelele in hand adding to the jocular atmosphere. Also often present is the owners' odd but delightful hairless dog-like creature (sorry Ashley- I forgot his name). He even has his own chair. Anyway, if you are local and looking for a new hangout or just passing through, stop in and find your new favorite place on the OBX.

Fun chill eclectic shop. Great music and welcoming environment. The espresso is the star, rich flavors roasted perfectly. I’ve been OBX coffee shop hopping for the last week, definitely a repeat spot for years to come.

Nice cozy OBX spot. Locally roasted and supports the community. Stop by for the coffee, excellent food, or a beer from the cooler.
