Stopped here on the way to Max Patch, they're the last gas station on our route to the mountain and someone forgot to get gas in town. Thankfully this adorable little place exists. I don't care that their gas prices are more than in town, y'all need to make sure this place stays in business.
The inside is super clean, super well organized, clearly labeled, and the supplies they have are what you'd want on the mountain, and the shelves aren't dusty. It's really well cared for.
It's full of locally sourced products, jams, pickles, local art. I love that.
The ladies working the register were wildly helpful, sharing local tips for both Hot Springs and Max Patch and they've even got print outs with directions to the mountain for folks who lose GPS.
We came during the off season so the restaurant part was working on a limited menu, coffee and bagels. Instead, we grabbed two oatmeal cream pies that are made in house. Y'all, they're SO GOOD.
Season starts memorial day weekend - May 21, 2022 to be specific.
Protip: pee here before heading to Max Patch, there aren't any bathrooms on the mountain. But don't pee and dash - be good citizens and buy stuff.

What a lovely place! The lunch was delicious ( chicken sandwich and catfish plate ( catfish was under cooked but my DH said it was good…. Hey he eats sushi) the hand cut fries make it worth the drive! The chicken sandwich was great! The oatmeal pies were a bit firm... but the taste made up for texture! YUMMY! The back deck was a win and my pooch enjoyed being with us during lunch!

They said ‘best meatloaf sandwich ever’ and I’m thinking, I’ve only ever had a few. But then I ate it, and I understand “Best meatloaf sandwich” is just a fact. Nashville got chicken was delicious too! Max Patch pit stop, every time.

Stopped in for a late lunch on our scenic drive. Great place, very friendly staff, very good food, reasonably priced, and dog friendly. Sat on the back patio and listened to the flowing creek, while we enjoyed our food. Great Atmosphere, very relaxing,we'll be back!

We didn’t stop here expecting to eat, but WOW the food was incredible. Might have been the best from our entire trip. Highly recommend the chicken biscuit with goat cheese and pepper jelly. Incredible. Super friendly folks and a nice spot to hang out. Hope we’re able to make it back again!

Cute little store! We didn't eat but we grabbed cold drinks and a oatmeal cookie sandwich that was delicious! It was a friendly experience! After reading the reviews, I wish I was hungry to try food! Maybe next time. I recommend stopping if you are in the area!

This is a cute store. Cute porch with lots of rockers. They weren't open for eating there yet for the season but we were able to purchase a frozen chicken pot pie which was large enough for 4 plus leftovers ($20 I think). We also grabbed a few of these huge individually wrapped oatmeal cookies with white frosting in them (super rich...enough for two treats ..$3.99 each).

The restaurant had yet to open for the season. We still enjoyed a classic Dr. Pepper and home made oatmeal cream pie.
The staff were so very nice and helpful. We spent at least 20 minutes just hanging out.

Love this store. The staff is awesome and so friendly. The TexMex bake, the breakfast burritos, and the Oatmeal Cream Cookies are amazing. The charm of this mountain oasis is always worth the stop.

The food was great. We ate here once for lunch and dinner. Cute store and sweet cafe with fair prices, only gas is a bit more expensive.
