Smashed Waffles

5 stars for ambiance, decor, presentation of store and waffles. 3 stars for signage outside. I totally missed it. Had to park at a Time for Science and set GPS to walk mode to find it. Some balloons or wavy man inflatable out front would be great! 5 stars for staff!!! So friendly, sweet and helpful as we were newbies...my daughters and I enjoyed our overall experience. If our waffles didn't have "burnt flecks" that were from waffle maker not being throughly cleaned in between waffles, I'd give waffles a 4...but some of the burnt pieces really didn't mix well with our waffles...so I'd had to give overall waffle a 3.

This is the OG smash waffle and it’s good. It’s in the new upcoming location of Greenville and they have a good selection of items. They also have very tasty speciality coffees. Also, after my first visit I got a $5 email to come back and use on my next visit (that’s a free waffle!)

I wanted to love these. They look and smell delicious. But the first bite...disappointing. They're just meh in flavor. And yes I had them fresh and warm. The flavor of the waffle itself is just not that good. Oh and they're super expensive too.

Finally stopped in here after hearing about it for the past year. Can't believe I waited so long to visit!. Food and the drinks were amazing. Can't wait to stop back in for another meal sooner than later.

Great bfast! Freshly prepared waffles! Sandwich and coffee for $5 is a great deal! The sweet waffles are big enough for sharing to get that sweet bit at the end of your meal or perfect with a cup o'joe!!!

I've been here a couple times so far and it's been great! The waffles are delicious! I also like the modern relaxed atmosphere. The service was also friendly. We will definitely continue to visit here.

I feel bad for even posting this but I'm just not getting all the hype. The location is cute, the waffles are instagram worthy but the chicken on my chicken and waffle dish was just very unappealing. It was like high school cafeteria grade chicken patty reheated in a toaster oven. I was expecting a crispy fried chicken patty. Sorry to say I was disappointed. To end on a positive note, the cookie waffle was pretty good.

Very welcoming staff! They were courteous and attentive for our initial visit and every visit there after. Not a large selection of waffles, but what is offered is fantastic and tasty.

Nice little place down town not to far from ECU great food and service. I ate there for brunch and loved it the chicken and waffles were delicious! There egg and cheese waffle sandwich was good too.
