Smashed Waffles

My husband & I tried the Happy Go Clucky (chicken & waffle sandwich) but it was okay. The chicken was a pre-made patty in two small waffles with a small cup of syrup included. I was expecting a made from scratch piece of chicken being that they are a local business. If that chicken was made from scratch I would give the a solid 5 rating. The service was good. No one was at the counter when we arrived but assuming the owner was sitting in the lobby called back to the kitchen for a cashier to come up & service us. We waited no more than five minutes for our food & it was nice and hot.

Visited them this morning and ordered the Chatty Patty breakfast sandwich (sausage patty, fried egg and cheese on Belgian waffle). Service was quick, friendly and good. Waited just a few minutes but to receive freshly made food was worth it. I will be visiting again soon.

#smash this place makes the best waffles ever. 6 waffles and 45lb later i am still a happy camper. I am visiting this place every wekend now. The price is a bit steep depending on your budget. We spent 25 and that was every waffle (6) plus some mini's for my pup.

To be honest I’m super disappointed in a place that I loved so dearly and have ordered from time and time again. This morning roughly between 10:30-10:45am I decided to drop by the actual store instead of getting delivery. Mind u I had my mask with me but as I walked in no one had a mask on including the cashier who swiftly pulled up her mask over face and said firmly YOU CANNOT COME IN WITHOUT A MASK SIR! I don’t wanna make this a race thing because I feel this company is a bigger than this but we were the only two African American people in the store. Not one customer had a mask on period!!!!!!! “What are we infected because we are black? I mean really!!! Come on smash waffle ms do better!!!

Smashed Waffles is a unique experience if you enjoy waffles and excellent coffee. I specifically recommend the Nitro Cold Brew coffee. Located near a variety of restaurants, Smashed Waffle is a great place to grab a sweet dessert after dinner or to get your “pick me up” during the day.

The waffles are great but a little pricey. Best to buy a dozen because you get them cheaper when you buy more. They are delicious. Their eating area is small so it is easier to take out.

Sweetness overload but SO tasty! It's hard not to get one of each but you risk succumbing to a diabetic coma... Nitro coffee amongst other breakfast beverages round out the experience - if you like Fruity Pebbles, don't miss the "Cereal Thriller" waffle!

LOVE LOVE LOVE SMASH WAFFLES. I literally go once a week. It’s definitely pricey but it’s a nice treat after a long day of work, passing a final, etc. I love the swirly sin. My only reason for the 4 stars is because they randomly changed their hours from 10 to 8 on weekdays and midnight on the weekends.

Amazing place, service was amazing, coffee was incredible followed by about one of the best things I've ever tasted, the waffles! Got the BFF and Happy go Clucky, must try if you have not! Thank you Smashed Waffle for reinventing the waffle. I'm in love and will this place and will be a regular!!!

OUTSTANDING FOOD. The variety is great and the waffles are fresh. The coffee was fantastic and not overloaded with sugar like most places. I will be back and will bring family and friends here when they stay with me in Greenville.
