Love this place! Great atmosphere, couches to read a book inside, covered porch outside with furniture. Friendly staff. Definitely worth visiting.

This is the best coffee shop/bakery in Franklin! In fact it rivals most in NYC and is definitely in my top ten of all times. The baked goods are fresh and made to perfection. Flavors like apple pie cookie or cherry cookies, hazelnut and apricot scones etc. The cookies are perfectly crispy on the edges and chewy in the center. The cinnamon roll is small but the butter is to die for!! The coffee was surprisingly great! It’s a medium roast (I love dark roast) and the cocoa sweetness notes were amazing. The decor is what hipster Brooklynites and Manhattanites aim for with that southern homey wood feel yet fail! No pretentiousness here!!! We wish we had time to sit and relax while enjoying our baked goods/coffee but time was short when we came across this gem! We also would have ordered the fresh baked breads!!! The staff was welcoming and friendly. This business needs to get listed on other apps like Yelp! We are glad to not have missed out on the experience! Had we known about it, we probably would have gone every day of our trip!

The baked goods are always delicious and it is a really nice space in which to sit a relax with a cup of coffee and a friend. The counter staff, however, need some serious training/attitude adjustment; they consistently give off a 'cool kids' vibe that is genuinely unwelcoming. Appreciate the owner's response to my feedback and I now have a better appreciation for why that the bakery is not open on Sundays .

Very warm and cozy. The staff is professional and helpful. Loved my cinnamon roll and coffee.

We recently bought a home in Franklin and my wife found out about Bent Willow the last time she was up. My friend and I stopped in before hiking and were blown away by the quality of the baked goods. I had the spinach and artichoke galette and the spiced apple muffin. Both were great. My friend had the almond croissant and it was the best croissant I've ever had! I tried to go back up and get one to go but they were already sold out. I did get some caramelized onion fig and goat cheese focaccia bread to go and it was amazing as well. We will be coming here every time we come up to Franklin from now on. Can't wait to try everything.

Staying in Franklin for a few weeks and found this local coffe & bread shop!!! OMG the white chocolate lavender latte…. TO DIE FOR! 😍♥️. I also ordered the apple pie cookies, macaroons and a loaf of sour bread! AMAZING!!!! Keep up the great work Bent Willow Team!

Great coffee...Amazing desserts and beads! Enjoy coming here with my family and friends. Whenever we have guests, we are sure to bring them to Bent Willow. The atmosphere is charming and the staff is very pleasant.

Definitely worth a stop on your way to the Smokies! We tried several items and all were amazing. The focaccia had to be my favorite, so soft inside yet slightly crunchy outside, flavorful and just delicious.

It's a total vibe.

True story, my partner and I decided to move to Franklin this winter after spending the last chapter of our life in NYC. One thing that we hoped and wished for was that Franklin would have a coffee shop/bakery that could be our ride or die. We passed this place, looked it up on insta and knew this would be our go-to.

So last weekend we gave it a shot, and listen, this is THE place.

Interior design: CHECK CHECK CHECK, a mid-century modern addicts dream.
Coffee: CHECK
Herbal Tea: Total CHECK
Apple Cookies: Made me almost cry from deliciousness
Savory scone: super savory
Olive Feta bread to take home: has so much potential to be turned into Bulgarian Milinki (my selfish request, that or lets get some Banitsa in Franklin)!

My only criticism is let's all work to get them open daily!

This bakery find was such a relief for us coming from a big city yearning for what appears to be a central space for community and desire for quality good times post COVID!

The best coffee place in the area! Amazing lattes and fresh baked pastries & bread. Every time we come in, there’s always something new baked, love it. We always come back here when we’re visiting Franklin.
