Muddy Waters Coffeehouse

This is a very nice coffee shop that we visiting while passing through Elizabeth City. They sell beer and nitro cold brew on tap. The nitro cold brew was mediocre, but I know that the nitrogen tanks can get iffy, from working in the coffee industry. Matt was very informative about the coffee and the menu. We spoke with Ben about travel recommendations since we wanted to speak with some of the locals about where to go in the city and along the OBX. Ben was super friendly and helpful. He really took the time to talk with us and provide great customer service. Forming relationships with customers at a local coffee shop like this is very important. He was able to connect with us easily and had a great personality. The coffee was amazing! I highly recommend drinking local and stopping in here. They had a nice seating area, a few games, and some books as well.

Great coffee, we got the Zombie and Turtle lattes, both delicious! Fast and friendly service, unique and comfy covid-compliant seating area. If you're in town, you gotta go

Went here for the first time in years for coffee before work this am....the mudslide i ordered was good....however i was very thoroughly impressed with the customer the lady that took my order had a smile and was absolutely pleasurable...customer service is the most important aspect of my buying experience everywere i go. And i was very pleased with my service here....i highly reccomend this business for all of your caffeine needs. I will mist certainly become a regular

Great options for coffee as well as other beverages. This is a popular hangout for people. We have been here a few times to get ground coffee for gifts and gift certificates for friends and family. Fast service even though there is usually a long line.

Atmosphere and service was good. They roast their own coffee and I could tell. I have an educated palate for coffee so I may be over critical. However, I did not like the coffee. It was bitter and under-roasted for my liking.

Love this coffee shop. Been coming here for years. The staff is great and friendly. The coffees are always on point. Definitely need to come check them out. You will be impressed!!!

Wonderful dog friendly coffee house. The stag are friendly and helpful, the coffee wad excellent. Unfortunately we did not have time to sample their beer and wine.

Nice atmosphere and great coffee selection. Had the oatmeal raisin cookie...delicious (fresh, flavorful, chewy, and nicely spiced). Give it a try. You will not be disappointed

A very homey little coffee shop with good coffee and some nice local snacks. There is porch seating outside, and the regulars are very friendly! Definitely a good place to stop by if you're traveling and need some fuel and don't want to go to Starbucks or the like.
