Muddy Waters Coffeehouse

I've been a loyal customer for 10 years, and the service, as well as the food they serve is welcoming and friendly. There's a reason this coffee shop is still up and running. Great coffee items and fair prices market this business in a good light. I do recommend stopping here for a drick before going to work in the morning. It's a nice place to lounge as well in the center of downtown with family and friends. Enjoy.

Excellent coffee, great staff, and reasonable prices. The mago smoothie is full of mango flavor without being overly sweet for my tastebuds. It's a cute little place to hang out at to chat with friends or even play a board game. I spent six years in Seattle and this place definitely has the northwest coffee house vibe.

This is an awesome, funky little coffee shop with some fun espresso creations. They also serve a nice assortment of baked goods. It has a pleasant atmosphere with both tables and couches to enjoy. It also has a nice little outdoor patio. I will be back!

Outstanding espresso beverages (and a variety of food and beverage) from a local favorite. Ordered 2 large coffees (4-shot Hazelnut Latte and 4-shot "Trainwreck" Latte) and was back out the door in like 3 minutes. Laid-back, inviting atmosphere, top-notch service from familiar faces, and reasonable prices. I used to frequent Starbucks, but Muddy's is the reason I haven't been back in 6 years.

A genuinely nice coffee house with really good coffee and truly friendly staff. The staff was not only super friendly but very accommodating and helpful too. I bought a bag of coffee out of despiration, they roast their own. I love the NC Morning blend and have ended my internet coffee purchases because of it. The coffee is dark and oily but much to my suprise, I like light roast, not bitter at all! And the bags are overfilled compared to everywhere else!

This place is cute! Definitely has a hometown coffee shop feel and has a great menu. Nice sitting area and relaxed vibe. Good coffee! Definitely a place to go if in Elizabeth City!

Fast Service.. Nice people.. Smells Great! Coffee Was outstanding 😋.. the only thing I didn't really like was the parking.. getting in and out was a drag... But for the most part.. I will be back for more Coffee ☕
