Love their coffee, FAR better than Starbucks!!!! Honestly THE BEST coffee house coffee we have ever had. Makes me glad to live in the same town. ❤ Sometimes I wish they offered breakfast- however they make such incredible coffee, I'm happy they don't wander from their specialty. ❤ If you're ever in Elizabeth City, NC I HIGHLY recommend it!

Nearly everything about this place is relaxing, cheap, and delicious. I'm pretty much a mango connoisseur and this place has better mango smoothies than the new Tropical Cafe that opened up a few weeks ago. If I had to choose to get a smoothie here or at Tropical I would go to Muddy Waters literally every time. They have coffee too for those of you who are coffee crazy, last I saw I think they had like 10 different blends or something, I'm unsure, but if anyone else want to respond with a little bit more info feel free to do so.

LOVE this place!!! Really only local coffee shop open on a Sunday so it was pretty busy. But it had it's busy times and then it died down. They allowed dogs inside which I LOVED! And they offer and sale their own coffee beans. I def will be going back everytime I'm in the area. Amazing selection and delicious frappes.

Only the BEST coffee house I've ever been to. Any drink I order cones out perfectly perfect!! No doctoring up of any as they already know how to make a perfect cup that doesn't taste burnt like every starsucks drink ever made!

Very peaceful place to sit and get coffee. There's no worries if you don't buy anything either, it's a wonderful place to meet with friends and hang out. If you do buy something though, you will not be disappointed as the staff is all very learned in how to make a fantastic cup of whatever-you-want. It has outdoor seating as well if you're into that. I love to come here because the staff is friendly and their merchandise is affordable and cool. Highly suggest this as your next place for a cup of coffee.

I had my very first experience with the coffee shop known as Muddy Water's here in Elizabeth City, N.C. As of today I have been here just over 1 week. The reputation of Muddy Water's preceeds itself and did not disappoint!😁 So much so that I sent a relative of mine in the Richmond, Va area a text expressing my enthusiasm about the coffee at Muddy Water's.👍 I also complimented the two gentlemen that work there.😊 Outstanding coffee fellas!
