City Grille

The burgers are delicious and huge! And the staff were very friendly when I went inside to pick up my food. The only thing I didn't care for was being charged a convenience fee for ordering online, but it was only a dollar so I wasn't too upset. I would like to go back there and actually eat inside the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this establishment to my friends.

Small family diner, food was great, wife had liver and onions (said it was terrific!), I had broiled shrimp and it was wonderful, all the sides were great. Wait staff was fast, attentive and courteous. Price was surprisingly inexpensive. Will definitely be returning soon.

Best place to eat in elizabeth city next to being at a huge family reunion full of home cooked food. Sorry granny but they have your fried squash beat! From everything weve tried the food is top quality, home cooked and worth every penny! Best place to eat in town imo and there are only two places, that i know of, that i havent tried yet. Staff is great and wait times for take out are minimal..

Food is nasty no seasoning. Nothing is fried hard. Spinach dip had bread under the dip. The shrimp Alfredo sauce was not Alfredo sauce. Gizzards aren’t cooked fully. Liver was good

The food here is hot and pretty fast. Everything is quality but needs seasoning. The waitress was one of the best I've ever had. Attentive, fast, thoughtful, personable. I went to eat with my 3 kids, we got dessert (I highly recommend the cheesecake ) and she got us out of there in an hour.

We frequent this place at least once a month if not more. We drive all the way from Hampton Roads..1 hour away and bring friends I ordered chicken Teriyaki and it was salty and it looked like a can of green beans was thrown in it. It spikes my blood pressure. This time my husband and I came thank goodness no guest of ours was with us. I ordered the grilled chicken salad. Ordered it before did not have a problem. This time the chicken was old and hard. The owner cane out and actually in front of me put his fingers in the plate and proceeded to pull the chicken apart in front of me to say " you say this is hard? And keep tearing apart the chicken. I walked out. I have never been treated that way and won't be back!

Friendly waitress. Club sandwhich was really good. Only complaint is we got some cheese sticks and there was the tiniest amount of cheese in them like almost none.

I enjoy eating here every Sunday with my mother and granddaughter!!....delicious food and always crowded!!😋

Wonderful visit!! They are best known for their fried chicken which is crispy and southern style. Their pork chops are wonderful as well. Prices are reasonable and the desserts are worth stopping in for even without the meal! I had some freshly made baklava which was the best I have ever had! I would recommend City Grille and hope to visit again soon!

well i had chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and french fries. and the chicken tenders were raw. and the waitress we had was very rude about the situation after i stoped eating it i felt sick to my stomach
